Last Post for This Blog - Thank You Everyone!!

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry.
I'm sorry for not being able to keep up with the blog posts.
I'm sorry I wasn't able to keep up with the updates in the past year.
I'm sorry to say this is going to be the last post for this blog. I am very grateful for all my readers out there for continuing to come to this blog to find updates, ask questions, and help each other. It meant a lot to me that I was able to help so many people in the Tsum Tsum world! Thank you for giving me this chance to help where I can. I'm sorry I am unable to continue with doing so for the foreseeable future at this time.

I meant to write December's blogpost on November 29th but I kept being pulled away time and time again because of work and personal issues, and each time I try to sit down at my computer to try and write a post, I would be called away soon after.

After thinking about this for the past week, I am very sorry to say this will be my last post. Thank you so much to all the readers and contributors out there, from those who leak the updates, to those who work hard at updating the various sites I use to gather more information about different tsums.

If you're ever wanting more information about specific events or tsums, I highly suggest visiting the following websites:

  • Reddit Tsum Tsum - to check upcoming game leaks that wonderful contributors on Reddit post for other's enjoyment and excitement. Usually leaks happen anywhere as early as the 15th of the month for the next month's event and new tsums. Sometimes when Tsum Tsum is playing games with us, they will post a day or two before the end of the month.
  • Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki - most of the time, I google Tsum Tsum Wiki and the tsum name to get a direct link to the tsum info itself. It has a lot of information of events and tsums and what the skills are and when available, any strategies that you can use when playing with the specific tsum.
  • Seiji's YouTube channel - I watch Seiji's videos of the specific tsum I'm interested in to see what he does to get the high scores with the specific tsum. Many times, I learn a new trick of what I can do to optimize my game play with the tsum. Check his YouTube channel out if you haven't yet!

I will be keeping this blog up for any tidbits people are still wanting to draw upon. There will be no new blog posts going forward for the foreseeable future.

Thank you so much again to everyone who has contributed to this blog's success! I have been very fortunate to have been able to help you all and to see the wonderful advice you all give to each other to help each other succeed. You are an amazing group of readers, Thank You ALL so much for all your support!! When I first started blogging about the tidbits I discovered about different tsums and about the events, I didn't think I would gather so many readers, so Thank YOU for giving me this wonderful opportunity!! I am very grateful for you all! You are the best and more than I could have ever asked for. THANK YOU!!!

I wish all of you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season and a joyous, Tsum-filled, new year!!

October 2018 brings the Nightmare Before Christmas!!

My all-time favorite Halloween movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas, is coming to Tsum Tsum International in October 2018!! Thank you so much to Tsum_luke for finding the leaks!!

Wow, it looks to be a super intensive month in October!!

Tentative Timeline for Oct 2018:

October 1, 2018 to October 4, 2018 - Lucky Time for the Pumpkin King and Oogie Boogie!

  • Tidbit: Pumpkin King's ability is just like Maleficent Dragon. Once activated, the iconic Nightmare before Christmas hill illuminates your background and any chains you create during his skill will clear the surrounding tsums!! As you skill him up, the required number to activate his skill goes down (from 24 to 20) and the time his ability stays on gets longer (from 3 seconds to 4.5 seconds)!!

  • Tidbit: Oogie Boogie (also known as just Boogie in Japan tsum version) has a super fun element in his skill! He will clear a random amount of tsums depending on the dice roll! It looks from Seiji's video that the higher the total of the two dice is, the more tsums Boogie will clear! As you skill Boogie up, the required number to activate his skill also goes down (from 18 to 15) and the range of tsums that he clears increases from 5 to 35 at Skill 1, to 15 to 45 tsums at Skill 6!

(SPECULATIVE) October 5, 2018 to October 31, 2018 - Haunted Halloween Event! (sneak preview)

From browsing through the event that happened in Japan last year through the linked sneak preview above, there looks to be 6 cards altogether. Clear missions on each card to go through Tsum Tsum's Haunted House, and on special cards, you get Bat Hat Minnie! After completing 5 cards, you get a silver pin. Complete the bonus card and you get the Gold pin!!

  • Tidbit: Bat Hat Minnie's skill is like Surprise Elsa. When activated, bats will appear on your screen and as you tap on the bats, surrounding tsums will be cleared! On Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki, it listed that Bat Hat Minnie can average around 2300 coins per game which makes Bat Hat Minnie a pretty good coin farmer. Do note that it doesn't indicate if this is with the 5>4 boost or if this is strictly without any boosts used. Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki also indicated a strategy to use when Bat Hat Minnie is your MyTsum: pop each bat from bottom to the top, making sure that tsums have fallen behind each bat before tapping on them. Then pop the magic bubbles that were created from the top to the bottom of the screen. By the time you reach the bottom or the 10th bubble, Bat Hat Minnie's skill meter will be recharged and you can reactivate her skill again! Anyhow, Seiji doesn't use this strategy but at least now you know two different types of methods to use Bat Hat Minnie, and hopefully one of the strategies works well with your game play!

October 4, 2018 to October 7, 2018 - FIRST 4-day Pickup Capsule will require you to have 450,000 coins to clear and attain the coveted skill ticket! It will includes:

  • Horn Hat Mickey x 2
  • Cat Hat Minnie x 2
  • Rattle Bones Pluto x 1
  • Pumpkin Mickey x 2
  • Pumpkin Minnie x 2
  • Pumpkin Chip x 3
  • Ghost Dale x 3
  • Skill Ticket x 1 to use on any tsum of your choice!!

October 8, 2018 to October 11, 2018 - Lucky Time for Frankenstein Goofy, Halloween Sora, and Mummy Donald!

  • Tidbit: Frankenstein Goofy's ability when activated will clear a zigzag S-shape line of tsums! Apparently he belongs to the Kingdom Hearts series of tsums!

  • Tidbit: Halloween Sora's skill will drop three devil pumpkins onto your screen, and one by one each devil pumpkin will clear a random-made chain of tsums! It's really neat to see its animation! According to Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki, these devil pumpkins are a form of magical bubbles and will trigger the Last Bonus if any devil pumpkins are still on the screen when the game ends! So cool!!

  • Tidbit: Mummy Donald will wrap groups of tsums into balls, which in turn are considered Large Tsums that can be connected together with Mummy Donald and cleared as a chain!
  • Tidbit: Using the 5 new Halloween tsums will help you clear the event faster through bonus character points!

October 12, 2018 to October 15, 2018 - Select Box will include:

  • Sora
  • Riku
  • Jiminy Cricket
  • Zurg
  • Pete
  • Scar
  • Maleficent
  • Jafar
  • Genie
  • Beast

Tidbit: There are some really good tsums in this select box!! Scar, Jafar, Genie, and Beast are must have tsums for coin farming, for satisfying the villain component of some missions, and for injecting some random unexpected fun into your games!!

October 18, 2018 to October 21, 2018 - SECOND 4-day Pickup Capsule will require you to have 450,000 coins to clear and attain the coveted skill ticket! It will includes:

  • Sally x 5!!!
  • Jack Skellington x 5
  • Zero x 5
  • Skill Ticket x 1 to use on any tsum of your choice!!

  • Tidbit: We finally get Sally tsum!!! Sally is a cross burst tsum! Yes, I know, after all this time of waiting for her, I end up not having much to say about her skill...
  • Tidbit: Jack Skellington and Zero were once part of the regular premium tsums repertoire. However, about 2 years ago, Tsum Tsum decided to remove these two tsums along with Perry I believe so that there is a higher probability for players to get other new tsums that were coming out each month. Now, these two tsums are considered to be Limited Time tsums that you will not be able to get in the Premium Box, so if you don't have these tsums and you want to collect them all, be sure to at least get 1 of each limited time tsums for your collection!!

October 22, 2018 to October 25, 2018 - Select Box will include:

  • Ursula
  • Queen of Hearts
  • Maleficent Dragon
  • Jester Goofy
  • Captain Hook
  • Cruella De Vil
  • Steamboat Pete
  • Mike
  • Sulley
  • Davy Jones

It's amusing they have a Select Box for villains and they stuck in Mike and Sulley from Monsters Inc.

  • Tidbit: These villains are all quite powerful, especially Maleficent Dragon, Ursula, Captain Hook, Cruella De Vil, and Davy Jones. If you don't have Sulley yet, you MUST get him in this Select Box because he will help you so much in the missions that asks you to clear a long chain (e.g. 30+)!!!

October 28, 2018 to October 31, 2018 - LAST LUCKY TIME for the Pumpkin King, Oogie Boogie, Frankenstein Goofy, Halloween Sora, and Mummy Donald!!

October 2018 looks to be a super fun, intense, and expensive month!! Start saving up coins while you can now. We still got about 2 weeks to go before all of these amazing new Halloween Tsums come!!

Thank you to all my readers for coming here to bond and read all the exciting new tsum tsum events! I have appreciated all your support and help you gave to each other in this blog. Just a small note, I will be away for the last half of October to the first week of November, so November 2018's blogpost may not happen. Nonetheless, I know you're acquainted well with Seiji, Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki, and the Reddit Tsum Tsum group so you will not be left in the dark of what's coming up in November. Thank you again to everyone's support.

Good luck in the event and Lucky Times!!

Happy Tsuming!!

It's a Fantasmic September 2018!!

Fantasmic is coming to Tsum Tsum International!! Thank you so much Tsum_luke for the leaks!! Thank you andriaia for the calendar!! You always do such a beautiful job with them! Thank you to RealKnack for the informative video as well.

Here are the tentative dates for September 2018:

(UPDATED) August 31 to September 3 - Lucky Time for Fantasmic Mickey, Prince Phillip, and Hercules!!

Tidbit: Fantasmic Mickey starts Fever Time, and bursts the surrounding tsums from the last tsum of the first traced chain during the Fever time. At the beginning, he requires 26 to activate his skill but as you skill him up, the less he requires to fill up his skill meter, eventually falling to 20. Note: If you ended a chain with a large tsum during his skill, it will clear a much larger area of tsums! (Seiji's video) UPDATE: Fantasmic Mickey is Limited Time tsum!

Tidbit: Prince Phillip's ability showcases an animation of him battling Maleficent Dragon and then he clears the tsums in the center! At higher skills, the more tsums he clear in the middle as you can see from Seiji's video.

Tidbit: Hercules' ability is similar to Sven. When activated, Pegasus runs/flies across the screen, clearing a horizontal line of tsums, clearing more tsums as he gets skilled up.

September 4 to September 7 - Pickup Capsule #1 includes 15 tsums, so be sure to have 450,000 coins to get that coveted skill ticket!!

  • Fantasmic Mickey x 1
  • Prince Phillip x 1
  • Ninja Donald x 1 (Limited time tsum)
  • Kimono Daisy x 1 (Limited time tsum)
  • Timothy x 3
  • Young Anna x 2
  • Cruella De Vil x 3
  • Jasmine x 3
  • Skill ticket x 1 to use on any tsum of your choosing!!

September 4 to September 26 - Fantasmic Event! There are 3 cards in total, with each card being released in the following order and dates:
  • September 4 to September 7 - Hades
  • September 10 to September 16 - Ursula
  • September 17 to September 26 - Maleficent Dragon
You can help your friends battle the villains they're battling which will show up on the Leader board! As you continue to battle the villains, you get Capsule Points! As the villain gets angrier, the more frequently they come out, so make sure you have enough time to keep the battle going when you're playing!

Capsule Points are used to get Event Capsules (they look like Pickup Capsules with Mickey Ears and his sorcerer hat!) where you can get a Meg Tsum Tsum!!! After you empty the Event Capsule using your Capsule Points, another Event Capsule will appear. Once the villain changes though, the Event Capsule will reset!!

***Tidbit: It looks like you only have limited time to play each card that is released so be aware of the dates!!***

Tidbit: Meg is a limited time tsum. Meg summons Hercules who clears an upside down T-shape area of tsums. As you skill her up, the trunk of the T will get wider, and thus clear more tsums per activation. Also, you only need to get 6 Meg Tsums through the Event Capsule to max her skill out!! (UPDATE) All you need is to clear the Event Capsule 1x through to get both Meg tsums! One Meg will be within the Event Capsule, and once you clear the Event Capsule, the prize is a 2nd Meg tsum!

Tidbit (UPDATE): Use Fantasmic Mickey, Hercules, Prince Phillip AND Hades to get character bonuses as you battle the villains!! The character bonuses for each are as follows:

  • Hercules: +40% bonus
  • Prince Phillip: +60% bonus
  • Fantasmic Mickey: +100% bonus
  • Hades: +120% bonus
I used Hades to help Michelle battle Ursula and managed to clear 6 big Ursula heads, giving me 180 points in total.
With Hades 120% character bonus, it added 180 x 1.2 = 216 bonus on top, causing a total of 396 worth of damage.

Tidbit: (UPDATE) Your Capsule Points (CP) are transferrable between each part of the Fantasmic event! You need a total of 700 CP x 15 capsules = 10,500 CP to clear the Event Capsule. If you can, try to save up more CP than you need so that you don't need to try as hard to clear the Event Capsule. Hades was relatively easy to get through the 7 cards, but Ursula was getting difficult. I imagine that maybe Maleficent Dragon would be more difficult. By carrying over extra CP from the previous card, then you can at least guarantee to clear the Event Capsule 1x and get the 2 Meg tsums without worrying that the event will time out on you.

September 10 to September 13 - Lucky Time for Hades, Fantasmic Mickey, Hercules, and Prince Phillip!!

Tidbit: Hades' ability clears a plus (+) shaped area of tsums! He's definitely worth having. All my friends are raving about him and from my experience, he clears a good portion of tsums so the Villains fall down faster during the event.

Tidbit: (UPDATE) Out of the four new tsums (i.e. Hades, Hercules, Fantasmic Mickey, and Prince Phillip) that are coming out in September, only Fantasmic Mickey is a time limited tsum, so try to get at least one of him for your collection if you can before the end of the month!

September 14 to September 17 - Pickup Capsule #2 includes 15 tsums, so be sure to have 450,000 coins to get that coveted skill ticket!!
  • Hercules x 1
  • Hades x 1
  • Young Elsa x 2
  • Prince Charming x 1
  • Happy Rapunzel x 2
  • Pirate Clarice x 2
  • Prince x 3
  • Captain Hook x 3
  • Skill ticket x 1 to use on any tsum of your choosing!!

Tidbit: I feel most of the time, if you're able to, it's worth getting all the pickup capsules to get the skill ticket at the end. It's quite nice this time that the new tsums are in both pickup capsules so if you only want to collect them and thus only need one of each tsum, then the pickup capsules will be enough this month to get the new tsums without using all your coins during the Lucky Times.

September 21 to September 24 - Select Box #1 includes the following 12 tsums:
  • Ursula
  • Cinderella
  • Happy Snow White
  • Salazar
  • Romance Belle
  • Princess Aurora
  • Wonderland Alice
  • Judy Hopps
  • Nala
  • Lightning McQueen
  • Jessie
  • Jet Pack Alien

September 27 to September 30 - Select Box #2 includes the following 12 tsums:
  • Maleficent Dragon
  • Theatrical Mad Hatter
  • Musketeer Donald
  • Young Jack Sparrow
  • Blue Fairy
  • Romance Beast
  • Jafar
  • Nick Wilde
  • Evil Queen
  • Aladdin
  • MU Mike
  • Pascal
Tidbit: For Select Box #1, I would try to skill Cinderella up as high as you can. Jet Pack Alien is also a great tsum to have at a higher skill level because its skill is super handy for the long chain missions e.g. 21+ !! For Select Box #2, Maleficent Dragon and Jafar are my favorite tsums to use for villain missions as they're quite powerful. Maleficent Dragon does take practice to get a hang of using but many of my friends find her super powerful to have in their collection. Halloween is coming up soon so a villain tsum would be super useful to have on hand, just in case you need it during the Halloween event missions!

It looks to be a super busy month ahead! Keep farming those coins, keep watch of those dates so you don't miss an Event card's deadline, and Good Luck to everyone on your Lucky Times, Pickup Capsules, and Event!!

Happy Tsuming!! =D

August 2018 brings New Winnie the Pooh and Friends!

Beautiful colorful leaks have arrived, thank you to the many reddit fans, especially Tsum_luke! Thank you so much for finding these leaks!!! (Select Boxes Leaks, Lucky Times and Event Leak) Thank you andriaia for your wonderful calendar summary as well!

Here's the projected August Timeline:

Tidbit: Happy Pooh (also known as Good Mood Pooh) acts like Birthday Anna. When Happy Pooh's skill is activated, it transforms random tsums into honey pots that can be chained together with Happy Pooh to clear surrounding tsums!! As you skill him up, more and more tsums get transformed into honey pots.

Tidbit: Once activated, Lumpy will jump around and clear random tsums. At the end of his skill, he creates and leaves a large Lumpy Tsum near the middle of the screen.  His requirement for full charge is clearing 22 Lumpy Tsums and this number does not decrease as you skill him up. He does slowly clear more as you skill him up, similar to Sorcerer Mickey in my opinion. After watching the video of the different skill levels, I noticed a neat side bonus - Lumpy creates more bubbles as you skill him up which is useful for the bubble missions!

Tidbit: Owl has a funny skill. When activated, a bubble will automatically spawn at the top of the screen!! It can be any type of bubble, from just plain bubbles to star bubbles to score bubbles! As you skill Owl up, the number required to activate his skill decreases! At Skill 6, you just need to clear 3 Owls to fill up his skill meter already! Note that his skill is similar to Piglet's - his ability gets automatically triggered by the game, so you can just focus on playing the game!

  • August 6th to August 8th - Select Box #1 includes the following 12 tsums:
    • Maleficent Dragon
    • Musketeer Goofy
    • Cruella De Vil
    • Steamboat Mickey
    • Conductor Mickey
    • Arlo
    • Mulan
    • Ariel
    • Simba
    • Queen of Hearts
    • Sven
    • Fairy Godmother

  • August 6th to August 26th - Pooh's Hunny Festival Event!! (preview found here) This event's aim is to collect all the hunny in the 100 Acre Wood! The event will be released in two successions: Cards #1 to 4 will be available starting August 6th, and Cards #5 to 8 will be available starting August 13th! Note that Card #8 is actually the Bonus card where the prize is the gold pin!

Tidbit: The new tsums released this month will give you character bonuses to help you complete the event quicker! Furthermore, if you need it, the Mission Assist Feature is available but I highly do NOT recommend using this feature if you can help it!

Tidbit: Shivering Piglet (also known as Chilly Piglet) has an ability similar to Pinocchio and Lilo. When activated, his skill will clear one type of tsums in a blustery wind!! Furthermore, whenever his skill is activated, each individual tsum that is cleared away counts as a combo! It gets better: at the end of his skill, he leaves a Time Bubble!!! Say goodbye to the dreaded time bubble missions and to the difficult high combo missions!! Shivering Piglet is definitely worth skilling up as the number required to activate his ability decreases as his skill level increases.

Tidbit: If you haven't noticed yet, all of the new Winnie the Pooh tsums released this month are only available for a limited time until August 30th!

  • August 13th to August 16th - Select Box #2 includes the following 12 tsums:
    • Surprise Elsa
    • Captain Hook
    • Cruz Ramirez
    • Scuttle
    • Mowgli
    • Pocahontas
    • Romance Ariel
    • Pinocchio
    • Princess Aurora
    • Miss Bunny
    • Tinkerbell
    • Maximus

    • Happy Pooh x 1
    • Owl x 1
    • Scrooge x 2
    • Rabbit x 1
    • Maleficent x 2
    • Snow White x 2
    • King Triton x 3
    • Elsa x 3
    • Skill Ticket to use on any tsum of your choice!

    • Shivering Piglet x 1
    • Lumpy x 1
    • Bubblebee Pooh x 1
    • Pete x 2
    • Peter Pan x 3
    • Jasmine x 2
    • Baymax 2.0 x 3
    • Birthday Anna x 2
    • Skill Ticket to use on any tsum of your choice!

Tidbit: I find this second pickup capsule quite worth it as I use more tsums in this capsule to clear missions than I do in the first capsule.

  • August 27th to August 30th - LAST Lucky Time for Happy Pooh, Lumpy, Owl, and Shivering Piglet!

  • August 27th to August 30 - Sticker Book Event! You can only use the new tsums that came out this month for this event, which explains the last lucky time corresponding to this 2nd event in August.

This month promises us many sweet new adventures with the new limited time Winnie the Pooh tsums!!! Which one will be your favorite??

Good luck everyone!!

Happy Tsuming! =)

July 2018 - The Three Caballeros and Tsum Tsum's 4th Anniversary!

UPDATE (JULY 2 morning & JULY 2 afternoon! Thank you to Tsum_Luke for the leaks!) For those who wish to see the calendar, please visit this Reddit link by andriaia as the calendar continues to be updated and the new link is posted there.

UPDATE (JULY 3)
According to the updated Calendar (thank you andriaia!):

July 2 to July 5 - Lucky Time for The Three Caballeros!!
Tidbit: Jose and Panchito are both time limited tsums that are only available until July 31st!! So if you can afford it, try to get at least both to Skill 3. If not, save your coins for the upcoming Selected Boxes, especially the one with Jedi Luke!!

July 9 to July 30 - Tsum Tsum World Trip (aka Tsum Tsum Around the World)!!!

Tidbit: The Tsum Tsum World Trip has a bonus card in which you can get a gold pin! Use Jose and Panchito to clear the missions in the event and get character bonus points, helping you clear missions easier!

Tidbit: Caballero Donald will be a reward tsum in Tsum Tsum World Trip event!

TidbitCaballero Donald: when Caballero Donald's skill is activated, he calls Jose and Panchito and fireworks will clear a triangular area of tsums on your screen.

July 7 to July 9 - Select Box #1 will have the following tsums:
  • Parade Tinkerbell
  • Parade Mickey
  • Cinderella
  • Pirate Stitch
  • Summer Olaf
  • Baymax
  • Dory
  • Crush
  • Moana
  • Lumiere
  • Flounder
  • Thumper

Tidbit
: Parade Mickey (for fever times), Cinderella (for time bubbles), and Jedi Luke (for clearing large amounts of tsums, especially myTsums) are great additions to your tsum tsum collection to help you clear the missions and events easier!!

Tidbit: I've posted this crazy video in the comments of one of my posts before, and thought it'd be good to bring it up again to show you how powerful Cinderella can be when you've nailed down how to use her ability to its fullest potential: getting a ridiculous 2+ Billion score with Cinderella. This person earned over 2 billion score record, slowing down in the end so he doesn't trigger the error message of exceeding the 2.147 billion score. The number of time bubbles and fevers that you can get into using Cinderella is where her strength lies in. According to Reddit, they said that the player was playing for at least 6 hours before he started recording the game, which according to the video lasted another 20+ minutes. Just master the time bubbles creation with Cinderella and you will be able to beat the 10M score at least.

July 12 to 15 - Lucky Time for Jose Carioca and Panchito Pistoles!

2 PICKUP CAPSULES: PART OF TSUM TSUM'S 4TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION!!

July 16 to July 19: First Pickup Capsule will include the following 15 tsums, so be prepared with 450,000 coins to snag all of the capsules for the coveted skill ticket!! This capsule is only on for 3 days!!
  • Jedi Luke x 1
  • R2-D2 x 2
  • C-3PO x 2
  • WALL-E x 2
  • Cruz Ramirez x 2
  • Angel x 2
  • Buzz Lightyear x 2
  • Baymax 2.0 x 2
  • Skill Ticket to use on any tsum that you choose!!

UPDATED (JULY 3):

July 20 to July 22 - Select Box #2 will have the following tsums:
  • Jedi Luke!!! Yes, he is back for all those who have not had a chance to get him yet!! He is a tsum you'd benefit in skilling up if you can, especially if you are able to clear the first Pickup Capsule and get him!
  • Pirate Mickey
  • Young Jack Sparrow
  • Steamboat Pete
  • Carl Fredricksen
  • Flynn Rider
  • Nemo
  • Maui
  • Blue Fairy
  • Max
  • Timothy
  • White Rabbit

July 23 to July 26: Third Pickup Capsule will include the following 15 tsums, so again, you'll need 450,000 coins to get all the capsules to attain the skill ticket at the end! This capsule will be available for 4 days.
  • Maleficent Dragon x 1
  • Happy Rapunzel x 2
  • MU Mike x 2
  • Nala x 2
  • Simba x 2
  • Ursula x 2
  • Evil Queen x 2
  • Scrump x 2
  • Skill Ticket to use on any tsum that you choose!!

Tidbit: In my opinion, I feel the first pickup capsule is definitely worth saving up for. Having 450,000 coins in tow and having Jedi Luke in the pickup capsule makes it a for sure win that you'll get at least one Jedi Luke that you can skill up over time. You can even use the skill ticket you got from the first pickup capsule to skill Jedi Luke up to Skill 2!! He is definitely worth the investment of your skill tickets if you haven't gotten him yet. To learn how to use Jedi Luke's potential, check out my blog article last year: Jedi Luke - a few tidbits. Cruz Rameriz is another amazing tsum to have! She is able to clear the whole screen once you get her to a high skill level, making her an ideal tsum to use for those treasure chests and capsules that fall during some of the events!! The other tsums are decent too but the two Most Valuable Tsums from the first Pickup Capsule will have to go to Jedi Luke and Cruz Ramirez.

(Tentative guess, not on Calendar) July 27 to July 30 - LAST Lucky Time for Jose and Panchito.

As more leaks and more updates are found, I'll update this blog to reflect the updates. So far, it looks to be an exciting month of July, especially with Jedi Luke finally being back, and the possibility of the exciting event being Tsum Tsum Around the World!!

Good luck everyone! Keep farming those coins! We have a busy, busy month of July awaiting for us!!

Happy Tsuming!! =)

***************************************************************************

P.S. Big Shoutout and THANK YOU to Mayorse for all your contributions and hard work in the many months before with all the leaks. I only learned now that you have retired. I'm sorry I missed saying "Til next time!" I understand the struggles you went through. I myself felt the burn-out too last Autumn, but kept going despite my warning signs. And unfortunately (fortunately?) when my back problems and personal health issues happened earlier this year, I ended up having to force myself to take a break from the screen and game, so I can concentrate on my health. After 2 months of numerous treatments and slow rehabilitation exercises, I was finally able to sit in front of a computer without my back hurting, and I slowly returned to the game.  The 2 month break was enough to help re-energize my love for the game again, and now I can see myself really want to play the Tsum Tsum Around the World event! I hope you are doing well and wish you all the best in your future hobbies and endeavours. =) Thank you again Mayorse!! <3

My Guess at the Tentative Sequence of Events: (different from calendar proposed)

(UPDATE -  JUNE 2)
June 1 to June 4: Lucky Time for Space Ranger Buzz and Zurg only!!
  • Tidbit: Space Ranger Buzz clears a circle of tsums as well as drop large Space Ranger Buzz AND large Sheriff Woody tsums in the center, which can be connected to each other. As his skill level increases, the base number required to activate his skill decreases.

June 5 to June 25: Event #1: Space Ranger Event!! A brief preview of the event can be found here: Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki.
  • Tidbit: This event sounds similar to previous years' Star Wars events. You can help your friends in this event, which in turn will help you gain points and finish your event!!

(UPDATE - JUNE 2)
June 5 to June 8: Lucky Time for Sheriff Woody and Miguel only!!
  • Tidbit: Sheriff Woody has a very unique and new skill that I haven't seen before. When his skill is activated, you see Sheriff Woody hopping onto the toy racecar that Space Ranger Buzz is driving. Then a bird's eye view of the racecar overlays the tsums on your screen, and the tsums the racecar travels over will be cleared. At the bottom of the screen, a remote appears between the skill meter and fan that you can use to steer the toy racecar to the left or right of the screen as the racecar moves forward. If left alone, the toy racecar moves straight forward. Seiji uses the strategy of turning on gyro and tilting his phone sideways, so that when Sheriff Woody's ability gets activated, turning the remote left and right will clear most of the tsums on the screen. I'm not certain from the video if the racecar would gravitate to the side that the phone is tilted on though.

Tidbit: All four characters (Space Ranger Buzz, Zurg, Sheriff Woody, Miguel) are new limited time tsums, available in the premium box until July 1st!

June 9 to June 12: Pickup Capsule #1 has 15 tsums and require 450,000 coins to clear and attain the skill ticket at the end. It includes:
  • Maleficent x 2
  • Princess Aurora x 2
  • Beast x 2
  • Belle x 2
  • Lumiere x 3
  • Gaston x 2
  • Mrs. Potts x 2
  • Skill ticket to use on any tsum of your choice!
Tidbit: If you haven't maxed out Beast, Lumiere, or Gaston yet, then this would be a really good capsule to save up for.

June 14 to June 17: Pickup Capsule #2 has 15 princess tsums and thus require 450,000 coins to clear and attain the skill ticket at the end. It includes:
  • Bride Rapunzel x 1
  • Snow White x 2
  • Princess Aurora x 2
  • Belle x 2
  • Jasmine x 2
  • Ariel x 2
  • Rapunzel x 2
  • Cinderella x 2
  • Skill ticket to use on any tsum of your choice!
Tidbit: Bride Rapunzel, Jasmine, Rapunzel, and Cinderella make this princess pickup capsule worthy. Bride Rapunzel is a time limited tsum that isn't readily available in the premium box. Jasmine is great burst tsum whose skill is quick to activate. Rapunzel is a phenomenally important tsum when you want an easy way to clear a mission that asks you to clear a long chain of 20+ tsums. Cinderella in general is a great tsum to have for clearing those time bubble missions. If you already have the Rapunzel and Cinderella at skill 3+, it may be good to save your coins.

June 18 to June 21: Select Box #1 includes:
  • Davy Jones
  • Maleficent Dragon
  • Theatrical Mad Hatter
  • Clarice
  • Hiro
  • Lightning McQueen
  • Pinocchio
  • Surprise Elsa
  • Simba
  • Sebastian
  • Pascal
  • Baymax
Tidbit: It'd be good to try to get Baymax if you haven't gotten him yet. Davy Jones, Maleficent Dragon, and Theatrical Mad Hatter are limited time tsums that don't come out often and if you have a million coins saved up at least, it'd be nice to try and get these tsums. At this point, we need to be strategic on where to use our coins at.

June 22 to June 25: Select Box #2 includes:
  • Cinderella
  • Young Anna
  • Scar
  • Steamboat Pete
  • Mowgli
  • Flounder
  • Crush
  • Rex
  • Miss Bunny
  • Dory
  • Angel
  • Ariel
Tidbit: Cinderella, Young Anna, Scar, and Miss Bunny are great tsums to get in this select box. Scar is one of the easier tsums to use for coin farming if you don't have him yet and are looking for a coin farmer other than Beast.

June 26 to July 1: Event #2: Sticker Book Event!! A brief preview of the event can be found here: Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki. A total of 4 cards are in this event.

June is looking to be quite an expensive month, and there doesn't look to be a clear strategy that I can suggest you use your coins. Given all the events and boxes coming out, look strategically at where you'd want to spend your coins at, given the tsums you already have in your collection and where they should be to help you clear missions in events and Bingos. Thank you again to everyone for reading. If you have any feedback of the above, please do let me know, and I will try to build on your feedback if I can.

Good luck and Happy Tsuming!!

*************************************************************

May the 4th be with you! I know this is a bit late, but May 2018 brings Star Wars (thank you Mayorse)!! Calendar can be found here thanks to andriaia!

UPDATE - I forgot to mention that you should log in each day for 20 days for login bonuses!

UPDATE (May 8, 2018) - Tidbit: The Select Boxes have a mixture of Star Wars tsums and other premium box tsums. The Star War tsums are definitely nice to have since they're limited time to only once a year usually. Unfortunately there is no Jedi Luke in the Selected Boxes, nor in the Pickup Capsule. Furthermore, it's hard to say which Select Box is more worth it to try for, as it depends on which premium tsums you do have and which ones you don't have and do want. There isn't a premium tsum that is listed in each Select Box that sticks out to me as one that everyone should have.

May 1st to May 3rd - Select Box #1 includes:

  • Stormtrooper - New! When activated, their skill changes vertical lines of tsums into Stormtroopers (video)
  • Han Solo
  • Chewbacca
  • Hiro
  • Baymax 2.0
  • Lightning McQueen
  • Pinocchio
  • Sebastian
  • Surprise Elsa
  • Simba
  • Pascal
  • Baymax

May 4th to May 6th - Select Box #2 includes:
  • Stormtrooper
  • Darth Vader
  • Luke
  • Yoda
  • Prince
  • Maximus
  • Nick Wilde
  • Arlo
  • Nala
  • Randall
  • Dumbo
  • Sven

May 7th to May 9th - Select Box #3 includes:
  • Stormtrooper
  • Rey
  • Kylo Ren
  • Judy Hopps
  • King Triton
  • Flounder
  • Crush
  • Rex
  • Miss Bunny
  • Maximus
  • Angel
  • Ariel

May 4th to 24th - Star Wars Puzzle event - 6 Puzzles altogether. Once completed, you get a silver Star Wars puzzle pin!

Tidbit: The Star War tsums all give character bonuses for the event; however, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Stormtrooper give larger character bonuses!

UPDATED: May 11th to May 14th - Pickup Capsule includes 15 tsums (need 450,000 coins) and includes:
  • Luke x 1
  • Stormtrooper x 1
  • Princess Leia x 2
  • C-3PO x 2
  • Rey x 2
  • Kylo Ren x 2
  • R2-D2 x 2
  • BB-8 x 3
Tidbit: If you want the majority of the Star War tsums, the pickup capsule is a great one to get most of the Star Wars tsums!

May 25th to May 27th - Select Box #4 includes:
  • Han Solo
  • Chewbacca
  • Peter Pan
  • Blue Fairy
  • Zazu
  • Birthday Anna
  • Ariel
  • Ursula
  • Princess Aurora
  • Tinkerbell
  • Patch
  • Lightning McQueen

UPDATE: MAY 15 to MAY 18:

Date to be determined for Ninja Donald and Kimono Daisy.

UPDATED (May 8, 2018):

Tidbit: Ninja Donald is a fun tsum. When activated, you see Ninja Donald jump upwards in a zigzag path (video) that clears the tsums along the way as well as create magical bubbles as he bounces off the sides!

Tidbit: Kimono Daisy, also known as Princess Daisy, has a pretty animation. When activated, the animation takes you through several doorways until you see Princess Daisy. At that moment, her fan spreads over the tsums on your screen. The tsums that are highlighted by the fan will turn into Ninja Donald, which can then be linked up with Princess Daisy to create long chains.

I know this is the bare bones only but I will update with more details after work tonight. Got to run!

May the 4th be with you!

May 8, 2018:

Sorry for the late updates and details. This was my first time I could sit by my computer to update the blog article. My deepest apologies, everyone. I'll try to be more on top of the leaks for next month.

Happy Tsuming!

Disney Storybooks event - Extra Book: Cinderella!!

Mission #1: Use a princess Tsum to clear 36 Score Bubbles in total.

Here, Moana is great to use because every Moana tsum that the stingray passes over in the animation turns into a score bubble! Happy Rapunzel would also be a fantastic one to use on this mission as she clears a big area once activated. Note: It takes at least 15 tsums to be cleared before a score bubble will be created. If you can clear at least 21 tsums with a princess tsum, you're golden because you'll always create a score bubble then.

Mission #2: Clear 1,200 MyTsum in total.

The best one to use is Oswald for this mission if you have him from the bingo cards, as his ability is to change the whole screen to Oswalds. As mentioned in my previous post, Gaston is fantastic to use for this type of mission once you get a hang of activating his skill immediately while tsums are trying to fall down on the screen. It's oddly satisfying when your screen is full of Gaston tsums. Another tsum you can use is Summer Olaf which clears all the Olafs (both existing and falling) when his skill is activated. Using Summer Olaf with 5>4 boost will help you activate his skill faster. Genie, Little Oyster, and Sully would also be useful for this mission as well!!

Mission #3: Pop 3 Star Bubbles in 1 play.

Maximus is great for this mission. When I tilt my phone to the right (1 o'clock position), the tsums make a nice slant that Maximus can clear. I get quite a number of star bubbles I noticed when I was trying to get score bubbles on one of the other missions. Note: A star bubble needs at least 11 tsums to be cleared. According to Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki, ideal number of tsums to clear for star bubbles look to be 13 to 15 tsums. In this case, if you have a tsum that can clear a smaller number of tsums (at skill 2 perhaps), then this would be a useful tsum for this mission. You can even try with a Happiness Tsum if your premium tsums are too powerful.

Mission #4: Clear 24 Big Tsum Tsum in total.

Sully and regular Baymax are golden for this mission. This is also a great mission to stay on for coin farming for the second pickup capsule that is coming up a few days after the event closes on April 27th, as any MyTsums will have giant tsums fall that you will be able to clear. It will take a while longer to complete the mission but at least with your coin farming tsum, you'll be making a profit as well. Reminder: there are 20 tsums in the second pickup capsule so you'll need 600,000 coins prepared to clear the capsule for the skill ticket in the end.

Mission #5: Use a Tsum with red cheeks to get 3,500,000 points in 1 play.

Any tsum with a high enough skill level with rosy cheeks can satisfy this mission. If ou're relatively new to the game, to know what the base number is required for you to hit during the gameplay, divide 3,500,000 by (1 + %) with % being your game bonus depending on your game level. For example, I have a 26% bonus at level 239, so I need to hit

3,500,000/(1+0.26) = approximately 2.8 million points

to be able to pass this mission after the score bonus is added on top of my raw score.

Mission #6: Clear 210 brown Tsum Tsum in 1 play.

This one is a bit tough. I am lucky to have a Skill 6 Beast so I was able to use it to clear the mission, as Beast's swipe clears most of the screen letting more tsums to fall down. The idea is to find a brown tsum that is easy and quick to activate and if it can clear a good chunk of the screen that'd be great! The other possibility is Moana if you have her at a high skill and thus can clear a large area with a quick turnaround for refilling her skill meter. Valentine Minnie may also help since she calls Valentine Mickey in the game both are brown tsums that can be cleared together.

Mission #7: Pop 15 Time Bubbles in total.

Cinderella is a fantastic tsum to have at Skill 3 at least. Time bubbles optimally appear when you link 9 to 12 tsums together in a chain, and at Skill 3, Cinderella allows you to only link up to 9 tsums together. I'm not very good with using Cinderella but each game I am able to make 4 to 6 time bubbles. Those who are great at making time bubbles can keep their game going for a long time and thus rack up an extremely high score. Make sure to clear the bubbles at the bottom of the screen as they hinder your chain-linking from reaching 12 and thereby prevent you from maximizing your ability to create time bubbles during game play. Other tsums that can help you in this mission includes chain tsums such as Aladdin, Mulan, Flynn Rider, and bubble creating tsums as Miss Bunny and Genie. Note: if you don't have Cinderella at Skill 3 at the bare minimum, you may want to consider using skill tickets to get her to Skill 3. If you can get time bubbles better with another tsum, definitely keep that tsum at that skill level. After I skilled up Thumper, he didn't make as many time bubbles for me, so I depended more on Cinderella afterwards to help me clear the time bubble missions.

Mission #8: Use a Tangled Tsum to earn 1,900 Coins in 1 play.

I would use your highest Tangled Tsum for this mission - don't forget regular Rapunzel, Bride Rapunzel, and Pascal also count as Tangled Tsums! Special note: If you don't have this page bookmarked, you may want to: Reddit Chain-to-Coins Chart Summary. This page shows the longer the chain, the more coins you'll be able to attain. Try using it with Flynn Rider as he will yield a character bonus that may help you clear this mission. Both Happy Rapunzel and Maximus can clear this mission once you get them to skill 3 and if you're having a bit of trouble, try using the 5>4 boost to help activate their skill faster. If you use the 5>4 boost, I recommend using the 500 coin boost because you never known when your game may yield the coveted 50x coin bonus.

Mission #9: Use a Tsum with eyebrows to clear 200 MyTsum in 1 play.

Gaston, Summer Olaf, Genie, Little Oyster, and Sully would also be useful for this mission. Oswald doesn't have eyebrows as it turns out so he isn't able to help you in this mission. Another possible tsum that may help if you have him at Skill 5 at least is Beast! For this mission, I used Happy Rapunzel and managed to clear 157 Happy Rapunzels. The character bonus gave me another 62, boosting me to 219 MyTsums cleared.

Mission #10: Pop 228 Magical Bubbles in total.

You can use Moana, Marie, or Miss Bunny for this mission. Use the tsum that creates the most bubbles (higher skill) and that has the least required for filling up their skill meter.

Mission #11: Use a girl Tsum to get 4,000,000 points in 1 play.

Any girl tsum that is quick to activate, that is at a high score level (closest to level 50), and that has a high skill level would be able to get this. If you're having a bit of trouble, try using 5>4 boost and score boost. Note: use the formula I posted above to find out what minimum score you need to achieve before your game % bonus kicks in to be able to achieve the 4 million points in the single game. Also important note is that the character bonus is quite substantial for the new tsums. I used Happy Rapunzel and I got a 50% character bonus on my score after my game bonus kicked in.

Mission #12: Use a Tangled Tsum to enter fever 8 times in 1 play.

For this mission, use the Tangled tsum that is the highest skill and fastest to activate for you. Using the new Tangled tsums will help you get character bonuses. It looks like they will give a 2 character bonus so you need to be able to at least activate fever time 6 times in one game with your chosen Tangled MyTsum. Try using the extra time boost, and if that doesn't give you enough time, use 5>4 boost to be able to activate the skill faster so it sends you into fever time faster. If you're ending fever time and you have a full skill meter, wait before you hit the meter to activate the skill. This method will help you minimize the amount of regular game play and maximize the amount of time you can get for fever play, which adds 5 seconds to the clock itself.

Mission #13: Pop 18 Coin Bubbles in total.

Coin bubbles require 13 to 20 tsums to be cleared, ideally in the range between 16 to 18. Any tsum that has Small or Medium clearance size would work, so around Skill 2 to 3 depending on the tsum. Having said this, I used Miss Bunny as I'm not very good at creating different types of bubbles through chaining and many of my tsums are higher than Skill 3, so more often than not I get score bubbles instead of the coin bubble.

Mission #14: Use a Tsum with eyelashes to use 13 Skills in 1 play.

Marie, Moana (at a high skill level), and Jasmine are good candidates to help you with this mission. You want to have a relatively low requirement for filling up the tsum's skill meter so that you can activate it as quickly as you can. Moana worked wonders for me since it created a lot of bubbles and thus helped lengthen the game with all the fevers I went into by popping the bubbles.

Mission #15: Clear 880 Tsum Tsum in 1 play.

Any high skill tsum that you use for your weekly high score should be used for this mission.

Mission #16: Enter fever 60 times in total.

Lumiere, Parade Mickey, and Parade Tinkerbell are ideal to use in this mission. The trick I've found useful is to fill the skill meter but don't hit it until you're already in fever time. This increases the number of fever times registered. If you're still in fever time and you filled up the skill meter and there's still plenty of fever time left, activate it. The only time I use the tsum's skill to go into fever time is when I'm running out of time in the game and I want to add another 5 seconds to see if I can fill the meter up one more time to activate before the game ends.

Mission #17: Pop 5 Time Bubbles in 1 play.

Cinderella. Learn how to use her. She is an amazing asset for these time bubble missions. If you don't have her at least at skill 3, you will need to wait patiently for Miss Bunny or even Genie to give you enough time bubbles during the game before clearing this mission.
I managed to get 13 time bubbles, which is a new record for me. It took a lot of practice and patience before I was able to reach this milestone. =)

Yay!!!

Mission #18: Use a princess Tsum Tsum to get 5,000,000 points in 1 play.

As per Mission #11: Any princess tsum that is quick to activate (e.g. Moana and Happy Rapunzel at a high skill level, Jasmine), that is at a high score level (closest to level 50), and that has a high skill level (closest to skill 6) would be able to get this. If you're having a bit of trouble, try using 5>4 boost and score boost. Note: use the formula I posted above to find out what minimum score you need to achieve before your game % bonus kicks in to be able to achieve the 5 million points in the single game. Again like last time, the character bonus is quite substantial for the new tsums. I used Happy Rapunzel and I got a 50% character bonus on my score after my game bonus kicked in.

My score was only 4.5 Million. But after the character bonus with Happy Rapunzel...

I got 2.2 Million (50% bonus) to increase my score way beyond the 5 Million requirement. Yay!!

I hope the tidbits helped you. If you have any questions, feel free to write in the comments and I will try my best to help where I can.

Good luck and Happy Tsuming everyone! =D

April 2018 brings Disney Storybooks!

UPDATE - April 14, 2018

I hope you're all enjoying the event so far. I only had time to start the event this past week and I found there are a few tidbits that may help you complete the regular missions a little easier:

Tidbit#1: When you get the Treasure box mission, multiple treasure boxes will fall during the game. A maximum of 5 treasure boxes can be obtained each time. I highly recommend using Cruz Ramirez because she clears a good chunk of the tsums on the screen, which helps get the treasure boxes to fall down quicker during the game. If you don't have her at a high skill level, I highly recommend to use some skill tickets on her as I've been able to get all 5 of the Treasure boxes each time I hit this mission and use Cruz.

Tidbit#2: When you need to clear a lot of MyTsums, try using Gaston. Gaston is a bit tricky to use and I would say I'm average to maybe a bit under average when using him. The trick that I've used to clear the most MyTsums with Gaston is to save a few bubbles at the bottom of the screen. Try to activate Gaston as fast as you can (using 5>4 boost helps here) and once activated, pop all the bubbles at the bottom of the screen, so the Gastons can start falling to the top of the tsum pile. Try to clear all the Gastons that have fallen and make a bubble but don't pop it. Once the next batch of Gastons fall, link all of them and hold the link until the screen goes from the red hue to normal game mode and then release your hold of the linked Gastons. It will fill his skill meter again in which case press it as soon as you can even though there looks to be a hole in your screen. Gaston's fire with his musket won't clear many tsums in the horizontal plane but it will fill that giant hole in the screen with Gastons quite quickly. Link all the Gastons as fast as you can and pop the bubble you had made earlier to get more Gastons to fall down as soon as possible. Then link the Gastons and hold until it goes from red to normal screen and release. Meter fills up, activate immediately, and the whole cycle repeats again.

Here I tried to activate Gaston as quickly as I can before other tsums started falling. This maximizes the number of Gaston tsums on my screen. Using the bubbles at the bottom of the screen, I can make the tsums fall faster, so during this red phase, it drops more Gastons before it turns normal. Once it's normal game mode, it drops other tsums which is what I'm trying to avoid. When it turns normal, and if I have many Gastons on the screen, it makes it a lot easier to activate Gaston's skill again.
End result from the strategy described above.

Tidbit#3: There is a mission that says "Use a black Tsum to clear 5 Time Bubbles in total". I played around with a few of my black tsums and the one that worked the best for me was Sorcerer Mickey. I do have a higher skill Sorcerer Mickey but there is still a way that you can create time bubbles, which requires you to clear 9 to 16 tsums. According to Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki for Sorcerer Mickey, the strategy to getting larger burst areas is to time your taps to when the little Mickey silhouette points. The little Mickey silhouette is located on the bottom left corner. Other people have been successful with this mission using Conductor Mickey and Aladdin as well. The different types of Minnies may also help because you can make chains with them so if you make chains of 9 to 16 tsums, you may get a time bubble. If you're going to use Minnie, try to make chains of 9 to 12 for better odds of getting a time bubble!

I managed to get 4 time bubbles each game I played with Sorcerer Mickey for this mission.
Do you have any missions that you had difficulty with? Did you find a tsum that you didn't know could help you clear one of the missions? I did learn from the missions that Happy Rapunzel doesn't count as a burst tsum, so be careful of that.

I hope I can do the difficult card and if I can, I will be back with another update for it!

Happy Tsuming and good luck! =)

**********************************************************************

The Leaks have finally been found! Thank you Mayorse (and Loserbait) for all your hard work, especially since the creators of Tsum Tsum decided to encrypt the files this time to try and thwart our leak addiction!!! Your hard work is always appreciated. Thank you!! =)

A calendar summary has been shared about what to expect by andriaia, Thank you!

April looks to be bringing Disney Storybooks to the International game! This is what's coming up around the riverbend:

Tidbit: Flynn Rider's ability summons regular Rapunzel, which can be linked together with Flynn to make long chains. When his ability is activated, the animation shows the lantern floating up between Rapunzel and Flynn as in the beautiful boat scene in the movie, and when the lantern pauses in the center, it changes the tsums to Rapunzels! After you link the Rapunzel tsums with Flynn Rider tsums, they disappear into lots of golden hearts. By calling Rapunzel, this likely means that using Flynn's ability also levels up Rapunzel in the background, just as using Birthday Anna (which summons Surprise Elsa) also secretly levels up your Surprise Elsa in the background of the game!

Tidbit: Happy Rapunzel is a time limited tsum and one I think that is worth getting skilled up!! Happy Rapunzel's ability allows you to connect different tsums together just like regular Rapunzel, but after you connect the random tsums, the surrounding tsums gets cleared too! When her ability is activated, a beautiful animation appears: Rapunzel's golden hair frames the top and bottom parts of the screen, and whichever direction of tsums you connect, a beautiful golden sun would emerge and clear the surrounding tsums! This limited time tsum has a funny trick on the iPhones only (from what I could gather from watching the video) where when you swipe across the screen, before you let go, you hit the fan and the tsums will fly and roll around. After you hit the fan a few times to spread the tsums you've highlighted around and then let go of your hold on the screen, it clears a bigger area! This is especially useful for when you have a lower skill level Happy Rapunzel! Though I caution getting too used to this trick in your game play since we don't know when in a future update they would change it to be like on the Androids' version where the fan doesn't work when holding the swipe. Check out Seiji's trick video here to see what I mean! I only linked the video at 2:20 since I wanted to show you the jist but feel free to watch the whole video if you wish! The best way to use Happy Rapunzel is just to swipe diagonally upwards across the screen so that more tsums get a chance to be cleared. One more important thing: the higher you skill up Happy Rapunzel, the less is required to activate her skill!!

Tidbit: When Maximus' ability is activated, you see his animated character carrying a sword and clearing a diagonal line of tsums from the bottom left to the upper right hand corner of your screen. It looks like Seiji advises turning on your gyro and tilting your phone to the 1 o'clock position during game play. It is noticed that his ability doesn't pop bubbles that happens to be in the pathway of the sword swipe. Just like Happy Rapunzel, the higher you skill up Maximus, the less is required to activate his skill!

  • April 6 to April 9, 2018 - 1st Pickup Capsule will have 15 tsums (needs 450,000 coins!) and will include the following tsums:
    • Parade Tinkerbell x 2
    • MU Mike x 1
    • Carl x 1
    • Wall-E x 1
    • Romance Ariel x 2
    • Baymax x 2
    • Scuttle x 2
    • Abu x 2
    • Dumbo x 2
    • Skill Ticket x 1 to use on any tsum of your choosing!
Tidbit: For those who are new and who don't have many of the tsums in the first pickup capsule, this may be one that you should spend coins in. Many of these tsums are time limited tsums that don't normally come out in the premium box rotations. For the more mature players, you may do well to skip this first pickup capsule and save the coins for the second pickup capsule.

    • [UPDATE on START DATE] April 4 to April 24, 2018 - Disney Storybooks Event! There are 4 storybooks altogether. Each storybook has a different map. You will need to clear the missions on the map to move through the story! During the gameplay, a treasure chest may appear. Hit it with your tsum's ability or pop a bubble next to it to get the treasure chest. At the end of your game, I believe the treasure chest will reveal what item or coins you attained. Clear a mission with a key and it unlocks another book. After completing the 4 storybooks, you get a silver pin! But that's not all. A difficult Extra Book will appear, and if you manage to complete it, you get a Gold pin! Like previous events, when you use the new tsums (Happy Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Maximus, Pocahontas, and Mulan), you get character bonuses that makes the missions a bit easier to complete. Mission Assist is also available in the event, but this time, it is only available for the difficult Extra Book! I would caution on using the Mission Assists since they do require you to use up 10 rubies before the mission becomes easier. I guess this is their way of getting more revenue from the ruby purchases. If you do purchase rubies, they do have a 20% bonus going on 2x this next month! A good overview of the Disney Storybooks event can be found here: Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki.

Tidbit: Mulan's ability is to summon Ping, which can be linked together with Mulan to make long chains! (In case you don't know who Ping is, Ping is Mulan pretending to be a young man in order to be able to take her father's place in the army against the Huns. She had done this in order to keep her father from re-entering the army in his old age. If you haven't watched it, you should watch it! It's a bit of a tear-jerker for me... ok back to your regular programming!) When Mulan's ability is activated, the surrounding tsums gets turned into Ping, and as Mulan is skilled up, the number of tsums that get transformed into Ping increases. By Skill 6, most if not all the surrounding tsums get transformed into Ping and you can make some really long chains as a result!

Tidbit: Pocahontas' ability is similar to Bumblebee Pooh's! When activated, she stops time for a short duration and all the chains that you link during this pause would clear as 1 large chain! Her base number is quite high, requiring 25 before you can fully charge her skill meter. Luckily, as you skill her up, her base number decreases down to 20 to activate her skill meter. Her time limit is quite a bit shorter than Bumblebee Pooh's too, starting at 2.5 seconds before moving up to 5 seconds at Skill 6. One thng I do notice while watching Seiji play Pocahontas vs. Bumblebee Pooh is that he seems to clear a lot more with Pocahontas though I'm not sure if it's because his playing style changed over time. In Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki, they did mention that when time stops, Pocahontas is able to connect tsums together that would usually be deemed too far to connect otherwise. I'm not sure if it's true, so please let us know after you try her gameplay if this claim is true!

Tidbit: This is a really good pickup capsule to save and spend your coins on because you'll guarantee to get Happy Rapunzel, Scrooge, Queen of Hearts, Cruz Ramirez, Genie and a skill ticket at the end once you clear it! The mentioned tsums are good coin farmers for the average player without too much skill required. Genie is also a great catch because it helps make your missions more fun to complete due to the variations he surprises you with!

It looks to be another fun month ahead of us! Lots of coins required for sure, so keep farming those coins!
