April 2018 brings Disney Storybooks!

UPDATE - April 14, 2018

I hope you're all enjoying the event so far. I only had time to start the event this past week and I found there are a few tidbits that may help you complete the regular missions a little easier:

Tidbit#1: When you get the Treasure box mission, multiple treasure boxes will fall during the game. A maximum of 5 treasure boxes can be obtained each time. I highly recommend using Cruz Ramirez because she clears a good chunk of the tsums on the screen, which helps get the treasure boxes to fall down quicker during the game. If you don't have her at a high skill level, I highly recommend to use some skill tickets on her as I've been able to get all 5 of the Treasure boxes each time I hit this mission and use Cruz.

Tidbit#2: When you need to clear a lot of MyTsums, try using Gaston. Gaston is a bit tricky to use and I would say I'm average to maybe a bit under average when using him. The trick that I've used to clear the most MyTsums with Gaston is to save a few bubbles at the bottom of the screen. Try to activate Gaston as fast as you can (using 5>4 boost helps here) and once activated, pop all the bubbles at the bottom of the screen, so the Gastons can start falling to the top of the tsum pile. Try to clear all the Gastons that have fallen and make a bubble but don't pop it. Once the next batch of Gastons fall, link all of them and hold the link until the screen goes from the red hue to normal game mode and then release your hold of the linked Gastons. It will fill his skill meter again in which case press it as soon as you can even though there looks to be a hole in your screen. Gaston's fire with his musket won't clear many tsums in the horizontal plane but it will fill that giant hole in the screen with Gastons quite quickly. Link all the Gastons as fast as you can and pop the bubble you had made earlier to get more Gastons to fall down as soon as possible. Then link the Gastons and hold until it goes from red to normal screen and release. Meter fills up, activate immediately, and the whole cycle repeats again.

Here I tried to activate Gaston as quickly as I can before other tsums started falling. This maximizes the number of Gaston tsums on my screen. Using the bubbles at the bottom of the screen, I can make the tsums fall faster, so during this red phase, it drops more Gastons before it turns normal. Once it's normal game mode, it drops other tsums which is what I'm trying to avoid. When it turns normal, and if I have many Gastons on the screen, it makes it a lot easier to activate Gaston's skill again.

End result from the strategy described above.

Tidbit#3: There is a mission that says "Use a black Tsum to clear 5 Time Bubbles in total". I played around with a few of my black tsums and the one that worked the best for me was Sorcerer Mickey. I do have a higher skill Sorcerer Mickey but there is still a way that you can create time bubbles, which requires you to clear 9 to 16 tsums. According to Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki for Sorcerer Mickey, the strategy to getting larger burst areas is to time your taps to when the little Mickey silhouette points. The little Mickey silhouette is located on the bottom left corner. Other people have been successful with this mission using Conductor Mickey and Aladdin as well. The different types of Minnies may also help because you can make chains with them so if you make chains of 9 to 16 tsums, you may get a time bubble. If you're going to use Minnie, try to make chains of 9 to 12 for better odds of getting a time bubble!

I managed to get 4 time bubbles each game I played with Sorcerer Mickey for this mission.

A calendar summary has been shared about what to expect by andriaia, Thank you!


April looks to be bringing Disney Storybooks to the International game! This is what's coming up around the riverbend:

• April 2 to April 5, 2018 - Lucky Time for Flynn Rider, Happy Rapunzel, and Maximus!

Tidbit: Flynn Rider's ability summons regular Rapunzel, which can be linked together with Flynn to make long chains. When his ability is activated, the animation shows the lantern floating up between Rapunzel and Flynn as in the beautiful boat scene in the movie, and when the lantern pauses in the center, it changes the tsums to Rapunzels! After you link the Rapunzel tsums with Flynn Rider tsums, they disappear into lots of golden hearts. By calling Rapunzel, this likely means that using Flynn's ability also levels up Rapunzel in the background, just as using Birthday Anna (which summons Surprise Elsa) also secretly levels up your Surprise Elsa in the background of the game!

Tidbit: Happy Rapunzel is a time limited tsum and one I think that is worth getting skilled up!! Happy Rapunzel's ability allows you to connect different tsums together just like regular Rapunzel, but after you connect the random tsums, the surrounding tsums gets cleared too! When her ability is activated, a beautiful animation appears: Rapunzel's golden hair frames the top and bottom parts of the screen, and whichever direction of tsums you connect, a beautiful golden sun would emerge and clear the surrounding tsums! This limited time tsum has a funny trick on the iPhones only (from what I could gather from watching the video) where when you swipe across the screen, before you let go, you hit the fan and the tsums will fly and roll around. After you hit the fan a few times to spread the tsums you've highlighted around and then let go of your hold on the screen, it clears a bigger area! This is especially useful for when you have a lower skill level Happy Rapunzel! Though I caution getting too used to this trick in your game play since we don't know when in a future update they would change it to be like on the Androids' version where the fan doesn't work when holding the swipe. Check out Seiji's trick video here to see what I mean! I only linked the video at 2:20 since I wanted to show you the jist but feel free to watch the whole video if you wish! The best way to use Happy Rapunzel is just to swipe diagonally upwards across the screen so that more tsums get a chance to be cleared. One more important thing: the higher you skill up Happy Rapunzel, the less is required to activate her skill!!

Tidbit: When Maximus' ability is activated, you see his animated character carrying a sword and clearing a diagonal line of tsums from the bottom left to the upper right hand corner of your screen. It looks like Seiji advises turning on your gyro and tilting your phone to the 1 o'clock position during game play. It is noticed that his ability doesn't pop bubbles that happens to be in the pathway of the sword swipe. Just like Happy Rapunzel, the higher you skill up Maximus, the less is required to activate his skill! 

• April 6 to April 9, 2018 - 1st Pickup Capsule will have 15 tsums (needs 450,000 coins!) and will include the following tsums:

• Parade Tinkerbell x 2
• MU Mike x 1
• Carl x 1
• Wall-E x 1
• Romance Ariel x 2
• Baymax x 2
• Scuttle x 2
• Abu x 2
• Dumbo x 2
• Skill Ticket x 1 to use on any tsum of your choosing!

Tidbit: For those who are new and who don't have many of the tsums in the first pickup capsule, this may be one that you should spend coins in. Many of these tsums are time limited tsums that don't normally come out in the premium box rotations. For the more mature players, you may do well to skip this first pickup capsule and save the coins for the second pickup capsule.

• [UPDATE on START DATE] April 4 to April 24, 2018 - Disney Storybooks Event! There are 4 storybooks altogether. Each storybook has a different map. You will need to clear the missions on the map to move through the story! During the gameplay, a treasure chest may appear. Hit it with your tsum's ability or pop a bubble next to it to get the treasure chest. At the end of your game, I believe the treasure chest will reveal what item or coins you attained. Clear a mission with a key and it unlocks another book. After completing the 4 storybooks, you get a silver pin! But that's not all. A difficult Extra Book will appear, and if you manage to complete it, you get a Gold pin! Like previous events, when you use the new tsums (Happy Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Maximus, Pocahontas, and Mulan), you get character bonuses that makes the missions a bit easier to complete. Mission Assist is also available in the event, but this time, it is only available for the difficult Extra Book! I would caution on using the Mission Assists since they do require you to use up 10 rubies before the mission becomes easier. I guess this is their way of getting more revenue from the ruby purchases. If you do purchase rubies, they do have a 20% bonus going on 2x this next month! • April 12 to April 15, 2018 - Lucky Time for Pocahontas and Mulan!!

Tidbit: Mulan's ability is to summon Ping, which can be linked together with Mulan to make long chains! (In case you don't know who Ping is, Ping is Mulan pretending to be a young man in order to be able to take her father's place in the army against the Huns. She had done this in order to keep her father from re-entering the army in his old age. If you haven't watched it, you should watch it! It's a bit of a tear-jerker for me... ok back to your regular programming!) When Mulan's ability is activated, the surrounding tsums gets turned into Ping, and as Mulan is skilled up, the number of tsums that get transformed into Ping increases. By Skill 6, most if not all the surrounding tsums get transformed into Ping and you can make some really long chains as a result!

Tidbit: Pocahontas' ability is similar to Bumblebee Pooh's! When activated, she stops time for a short duration and all the chains that you link during this pause would clear as 1 large chain! Her base number is quite high, requiring 25 before you can fully charge her skill meter. Luckily, as you skill her up, her base number decreases down to 20 to activate her skill meter. Her time limit is quite a bit shorter than Bumblebee Pooh's too, starting at 2.5 seconds before moving up to 5 seconds at Skill 6. One thng I do notice while watching Seiji play Pocahontas vs. Bumblebee Pooh is that he seems to clear a lot more with Pocahontas though I'm not sure if it's because his playing style changed over time. In Disney Tsum Tsum Wiki, they did mention that when time stops, Pocahontas is able to connect tsums together that would usually be deemed too far to connect otherwise. I'm not sure if it's true, so please let us know after you try her gameplay if this claim is true!

• April 20 to April 23, 2018 - LAST Lucky Time for Happy Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Maximus, Pocahontas, and Mulan!

• April 27 to April 30, 2018 - 2nd Pickup Capsule has 20 tsums (you need 600,000 coins!) and will include the following tsums: 

• Happy Rapunzel x 1 !!!
• Cruz Ramirez x 2
• Jet Pack Alien x 2
• Scrooge x 3
• Prince x 2
• Snow White x 2
• Wonderland Alice x 2
• Mad Hatter x 1
• Queen of Hearts x 1
• Mater x 2
• Genie x 2
• Skill Ticket x 1 to use on any tsum of your choosing!

Tidbit: This is a really good pickup capsule to save and spend your coins on because you'll guarantee to get Happy Rapunzel, Scrooge, Queen of Hearts, Cruz Ramirez, Genie and a skill ticket at the end once you clear it! The mentioned tsums are good coin farmers for the average player without too much skill required. Genie is also a great catch because it helps make your missions more fun to complete due to the variations he surprises you with!

It looks to be another fun month ahead of us! Lots of coins required for sure, so keep farming those coins!

UPDATE - FEB 28, 2018: I've entered the speculated Dates from the Extra Leaks (thank you Mayorse!!). Do note that some of the tsums, if not all of the tsums, coming out in March are stated to be Limited tsums. In the general sense, they all are limited since they're not all readily available in the premium boxes anymore, and are on rotation. There will definitely be some tsums that will come out less frequently than other tsums in the upcoming months, and may even come out once or twice a year at most, but in the end, tsum tsum has been pretty good at releasing old tsums so that new players can get them too.

Ahoy matey! March is looking to be a treasure hunt! For sunken treasure in the game, and literally for the leaked info such as dates! =)

As there are no dates currently known, and as I usually write my blogposts chronologically, I will be structuring this post differently.


New Tsums & Tidbits & Tentative Schedule: 

March 1 to March 4, 2018

• Pirate Mickey - he is going to be a limited time tsum! Pirate Mickey's ability shoots out 3 cannon balls which lands of course in a shape of a Mickey! The 3 cannon balls will clear the center of tsums at once, clearing around 21 to 23 tsums at Skill 1 and clearing around 26 to 30 tsums at Skill 6. As other special tsums, as you skill up Pirate Mickey, the less you need to fill up his skill meter, decreasing from 19 required at skill 1 to 15 required at skill 5 and 6, making it easier to activate his skill more frequently during the game! 

Tidbit: When firing his cannon balls, Pirate Mickey does end up popping any bubbles that are within reach of where the cannon balls fall. It does create a score bubble though, and if you pop the score bubble during fever time, it will help improve your fever score which ultimately adds to your overall score for the game. 

• Pirate Stitch - he will also be a limited time tsum! Pirate Stitch is a fun tsum, as I watch his animation. When his skill is activated, Pirate Stitch juggles three swords into the air, and as the swords fall, Pirate Stitch will run away and the swords will fall down the screen and clear 3 separate vertical lines of tsums! Of course as he skills up more, the more tsums he clears.

• Pirate Clarice - she will be a limited time tsum. When her skill is activated, she calls Pirate Chip and Pirate Dale to shoot and clear random tsums on the screen, sort of like Princess Leia but not as powerful. As you skill her up, Pirate Chip and Pirate Dale do take out more random tsums. 

Tidbit: Pirate Clarice would be an excellent tsum to use for missions that require you to get a high combo. It's extremely helpful for those who don't have Holiday Donald or regular Donald. She only needs 13 to fill her skill meter, making it easy to activate her ability during the game, especially when using 5-to-4 boost.


March 17 to March 20, 2018

• Young Jack Sparrow - he has a fun ability, but it does require an extra step from you. Young Jack Sparrow's ability when activated showcases a compass with a rotating needle. Once you tap on the needle in the compass, it will clear a straight line along the direction that the needle is pointing! 

Tidbit: Turn on gyro when using Young Jack Sparrow as your MyTsum! Your game play will be similar to Beast.With gyro turned on and your device tilted to the right at around the 1 o'clock position, your tsums will fall on a slant. When the spinning red needle on the compass moves to the 1 o'clock to 2 o'clock spot, tap on it and it will clear the tsums along the slant! Since it's on a slant, you are able to clear more tsums! Check out Seiji's video on how this works!! Best part is that it only takes 14 to fill up his skill meter, which means he is already much easier to coin farm with than Beast at lower levels. Just need to practice tapping on the needle at the right moment to maximize the number of tsums cleared and thus the number of coins gained!

• Salazar - his ability summons a ghost shark that clears 3 diagonal lines of tsums! 

Tidbit: Turn on gyro when using Salazar as your MyTsum! Tilt your phone to the 11 o'clock position, which will cause your tsums to fall on a slant to the left. When you activate Salazar's skill, it will maximize the number of tsums cleared! Seiji's video show this trick!


March 29 to April 1, 2018 - LAST Lucky Time for Pirate Mickey, Pirate Clarice, Pirate Stitch, Young Jack Sparrow, and Salazar.


Pickup Capsules - UPDATE: You need a total of 900,000 coins!!

Tidbit: It's nice to get all the capsules to get the coveted skill tickets. Though the two capsules a month is really getting out of hand, especially with all the new tsums coming out. So I leave it to your discretion on whether you'd like to get all the capsules. The new tsums look to be promising so I'm torn on which one is more worth your hard earned coins. Pickup Capsule #1 is useful in getting some of the limited tsums that came out in past events, and Pickup Capsule #2 is useful only to get Scrooge for coin farming.

March 5 to March 8, 2018 - Pickup Capsule # 1 will include Rabbit, Bunny Pooh, Bunny Tigger, and Bumblebee Pooh! It has the following 15 tsums, so you will need 450,000 coins to clear the pickup capsule:

• Bumblebee Pooh x 2
• Bunny Tigger x 2
• Bunny Pooh x 2
• Rabbit x 2
• Stitch x 2
• Angel x 2
• Lilo x 3
• Skill Ticket x 1 to use on any tsum you wish to skill up!

March 21 to March 24, 2018 - Pickup Capsule # 2 will include Nick Wilde, Judy Hopps, Maleficent, Pete, and Scrooge. It has another 15 tsums, so you will need 450,000 coins again to clear this pickup capsule to get the skill ticket at the end:

• Maleficent x 1
• Scrooge x 3
• Princess Aurora x 1
• Rapunzel x 3
• Judy Hopps x 2
• Nick Wild x 2
• Randall x 2
• Pete x 1
• Skill Ticket x 1 to use on any tsum you wish to skill up!

There is a select box of 12 specific tsums, a concept of which I'm not familiar with at this time. The picture shows that it will have Elizabeth Swann, Jack Sparrow, and Davy Jones in the mix! I had mention some of their abilities in my post last April (oh my, how time flies!).

Tidbit: It's actually worth trying to get many of the tsums in Select Box #1 because there are a number of limited tsums not readily available in it such as Romance Ariel, Romance Belle, Young Elsa, Wonderland Alice, and MU Mike. I do highly recommend trying for this Select Box if you haven't gotten Baymax yet because his ability will help you a lot for many of the missions during events and Bingo cards. 

Select Box #2 - March 25 to March 28, 2018 @ 11:59PM will include the following 12 tsums:

• Jack Sparrow
• Elizabeth Swann
• Davy Jones
• Conductor Mickey

Tidbit: The tsums that are highly recommended in Select Box #2 are Jack Sparrow, Conductor Mickey, and Genie though I may be biased on this last tsum, since I love the Genie tsum for its random plays.



Pirate's Treasure Hunt Event ~ March 7, 2018 to March 25, 2018

There looks to be 5 cards altogether, with each card containing pieces of the map hidden amongst a number of missions. It sounds like the 5 cards gives 5 different maps given the missions laid out here, as each card at the end contains a treasure chest that is only revealed after the map is completed. The Treasure Chest Game showcases a number of coins in capsules which you can only attain by popping the bubbles next to them. After completing the 5 cards, you will get a Silver Pin. Tidbit: Pirate Clarice, Pirate Mickey, and Pirate Stitch will give you character bonuses to help you complete the missions faster/easier. Though it is noted that for certain mission conditions, the three new tsums may not give a character bonus...

Tidbit: After you complete the 5 cards, a difficult 6th card will appear as a bonus to get the Gold Pin.

Tidbit: There is a mission assist button should you have difficulty in completing the mission. This feature takes rubies away from you though, so I would highly advise being very cautious in using this feature unless you really have been stuck on a mission for at least 30 games of play, and yet are just short of being able to complete the mission. I would suggest asking for help on Reddit or here, and trying different tsums first before finally giving into using this option for the event...

Thank you to everyone who has been so patient with me. My back has been causing me problems in the last two months, making it really difficult for me to sit for long periods of time. I am speechless and beyond thankful to everyone who continues to come back to check for updates and news. Thank you everyone! When I first created this blog, it was to help keep track of what's happening in the tsum-filled months and to summarize all the information I find about the tsums and game plays in one area so that it was easy to refer back to. I see that on Reddit, the leaks are coming out differently and are harder to dig up, so I am grateful Loserbait and Mayorse has continued to put in the time to find these hard-to-find sunken treasures to share with all of us! Since Loserbait has been summarizing all the findings in the one post on Reddit, I am wondering if you all would still like me to continue to post up these monthly summaries and updates? I really do want to help the tsum tsum community as much as I can and if this blog continues to be helpful in a way that I'm not aware of that adds to the Reddit summary post, I would be honored to continue to write out the updates as I have been before. Please let me know your thoughts. I would love to hear your insights and if there are things that I can do differently, feel free to let me know and I can see what I can do to provide additional value for you all.

Apologies for January

Thank you to everyone who has been concerned and who continues to review this blog for summaries of what is happening in the next month for Tsum Tsum! I am beyond grateful for all your well wishes. Thank you!

Unfortunately, I have been quite sick in the last month and have been trying to take some time to get back on my feet and healthy again. Great new years resolution right? =) I'm slowly making progress but it looks like it will take a little longer than I had hoped. I hope to be back up later this month and be able to help out with February's tsum tsum summary.

Christmas and Baymax 2.0 are in Town!

Well, it's that time of year again! Christmas!

There looks to be some trouble finding information for this month's tsum tsum fun but here are some of the leaks that have been able to surface (Thank you Mayorse as always!).

Known Timeline: please note that the 2nd and 3rd lucky time start dates are estimates

• December 1 to December 4, 2017 - Lucky Time for Baymax 2.0 and Hiro!

Tidbit: Baymax 2.0 clears a horizontal section of tsum tsum with his rocket punch. From the video, it looks like he can be quite a good coin farming tsum as well. Baymax 2.0 is a limited time tsum that will not be available after December 31st! So try and get this limited time tsum!

Tidbit: Hiro flies in a sideways v-arc across the screen on armored-up Baymax's back, clearing the tsums they travel pass. Hiro is also a limited time tsum that will not be available after December 31st! So try and get this limited time tsum during the lucky times!

• December 5 to December 25 - Snow Festival Event! The idea of the event looks to be gathering as many snowflakes as you can to make the 9 snow domes. Once a snow dome is complete, you'll receive a prize! A silver pin is available at the end of the event.
• There are two types of hearts shown in the heart meter during this event: hearts that are half covered in snow and Ice Hearts. 
• Tidbit: Ice Hearts will cause more snowflakes to fall!
• Tidbit: There are 3 Chance Times in a day at which point the Ice Hearts appear at triple the rate! Chance Times will occur at the following times:
• 6AM to 7AM PST
• 5PM to 6PM PST
• 9PM to 10PM PST

• December 5 to December 14 - Only Cards 1 to 5 are available!
• December 15 to December 25 - All Cards available to play and complete!
• As usual, the new tsums for this month will give character bonuses that will help you clear the Snow Festival Event faster!

• December 11 to December 14 - Lucky Time for Baymax 2.0 and Hiro!
• December 27 to December 29 - LAST Lucky Time for Baymax 2.0 and Hiro!

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are 3 pickup capsules this month! Two of the Three are known to have 15 capsules. Assuming that the 3rd pickup capsule has 20 capsules as the worst possible scenario:

15 + 15 + 20 = 50 x 30,000 coins = 1.5 Million coins needed!!

Two of the Three pickup capsules have no dates specified. According to the Reddit note and the few leaks, it is assumed that these are the pickup capsules to come:

Pickup Capsule #1: Picture Leak

Known to have 15 capsules so need 450,000 coins.

What is special about this first pickup capsule is that this one has Scrooge!!

Tidbit: Scrooge clears a vertical line of tsums and earns the players lots of coins! Furthermore, he only needs 14 skill tickets (after the initial box open) to max his skill up! So save up your skill tickets for Scrooge! As he skills up, the more coins he gains!!

Needless to say, Skill 6 Scrooge looks to be a great coin farmer!

Pickup Capsule #2: Picture Leak - Assuming to be available December 22 to December 25!!

Pickup Capsule #3: Picture Leak

Unknown number of capsules. Assuming the worst scenario of 20 capsules, try to have 600,000 coins!

What is special about this third pickup capsule is that there are Star Wars tsums in it!! The pickup capsule will include R2-D2, Princess Leia, Rey, Kylo Ren, and C-3PO at least!

November 2017 is All About Pixar!

Pixar is coming! Pixar is coming!!

I am super excited about this month because new Pixar tsums are coming as well as a weekend to celebrate Mickey's birthday (though a couple weeks early) in November!

Important Tidbit: The new Pixar Tsums are all available for a limited time except for Cruz Ramirez who will continue to be in the premium boxes after November.

• Nov 1 to Dec 1 - Login Bonuses in celebration of Mickey's Birthday!!

• Nov 1 to 4 - Lucky Time for Cruz Ramirez, MU Mike, and Jet Pack Alien!

Tidbit: Cruz Ramirez's ability calls Lightning McQueen whom she races and together, they both clear diagonal lines of tsums - it looks almost like a C-shape! Each of these two tsums clear their own line of Tsums and thus count as 2 separate chains. As she skills up, the less number would be required to activate her skill. Very Neat!

Tidbit: When MU Mike's ability is activated, he clears 3 vertical lines of tsums each time he practices his scaring! Love the animation!

Tidbit: When its ability is activated, Jet Pack Alien will rocket through space and change 3 diagonal lines of tsums into more Jet Pack Alien tsums, which allows you to create long chains in the game. The animation is quite pretty!

• Nov 6 to 9 - Lucky Time for Carl and WALL-E!

Tidbit: When Carl's ability is activated, you'll see his flying house clear a horizontal line of Tsums!

Tidbit: WALL-E's ability is taking a horizontal line of tsums and compacting them into tiny Tsums in the center. Similar to Wonderland Alice, when the surrounding tsums are cleared, these tiny tsums will be cleared with them. As you skill WALL-E up, the required number to activate his skill decreases! 

• Nov 10 to 13- Pickup Capsule - need 450,000 coins for the 15 capsules!

Halloween 2017 brings Jafar, Cruella De Vil, and Captain Hook!!

Halloween is upon us again and Tsum Tsum is giving us 3 new villains!!!

Important Tidbit: All of the new villain tsums are not time limited tsums so you will have the chance to get them in the premium boxes after Halloween is over, if the rotation includes them! The Tsums in the Pickup Capsule and in the Select Lucky Time (see below) do have time limited tsums which if you don't have yet, I highly recommend you save your coins for since they won't appear again for another year. 

• October 2nd to 5th - Lucky Time for Cruella De Vil and Captain Hook

Tidbit: Cruella's ability clears tsums in an S shape with her car, similar to Dory.

Tidbit: Captain Hook's ability clears a vertical line of tsums, as he is trying to run away from Tick Tock the Crocodile.

• October 6th to 9th - Lucky Time for Jafar

Tidbit: Jafar's ability clears tsums in the shape of an X using fire. It's oddly mesmerizing to watch his ability get activated.

• October 6th to 26th - New Villain Event - Part 2! Reward Tsum is Joker Goofy Tsum Tsum!! It looks to be similar to last year's Halloween event where there are three doors corresponding to each new villain we are receiving. Complete all the spaces in the event and you get a gold pin, premium ticket and a skill ticket among other prizes!

Tidbit: Captain Hook, Cruella De Vil, Jafar all give you character bonuses to help you clear the missions quicker.

• October 13th to 17th - Pickup Capsule - 15 capsules, so be prepared with 450,000 coins!!

• October 27th to 30th - Select Lucky Time for Maleficent Dragon, Horn Hat Mickey, and Cat Hat Minnie!! Only available during this select lucky time, so save up as much as you can so that you can at least get one of each of these tsums!

Tidbit: I highly recommend trying to get Maleficent Dragon and Horn Hat Mickey as skilled up as you can during this lucky time, if you can afford it. Maleficent Dragon is a really powerful tsum to use for high scores, and Horn Hat Mickey creates bubbles that you can move around the screen, thereby allowing you to control where they pop and clear tsums.

• October 29th to 30th - Missions are worth 2000 coins each compared to the usual 500 coins.

It looks to be another fun-packed month with new powerful villain tsums!! Keep saving those coins so you can get the tsums you wish to have!!

September brings More Frozen Tsums AND Kingdom Hearts!!

Hello Kingdom Hearts Fans!! Sora and Riku are coming to Tsum Tsum in the middle of September!!

Important Tidbit: ALL Five new tsums coming in September are Limited Time tsums!!

• September 1st to 4th - Lucky Time for Young Anna and Young Elsa!

Tidbit: Young Anna's skill shows her rolling snowballs with Elsa across the screen, which thereafter clears two horizontal lines of tsums. As you skill her up, the number required to activate her skill decreases, and at Skill 6, you only need 11 to be able to activate Young Anna's ability! Unfortunately, similar to the other musical tsums that Japan got, the International game won't have the "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?" song during game play due to the licensing fees and costs associated to distributing it to the rest of the world.

Tidbit: Young Elsa's skill shows her and young Anna throw a snowball into the air that bursts into a beautiful large snowflake that freezes and clears the upper part of tsums as well as freezes the lower part of the tsums that you need to tap to clear. I have to say the animation for Young Elsa is very pretty.

• September 5th to 8th - Lucky Time for Summer Olaf!

Tidbit: Summer Olaf's ability is similar to Zero, where he will disappear for a short period of time when activated. The developers made a really nice animation here, showcasing Olaf sailing away on a beautiful sunny summer's day, with a drink in his hand. Makes me really wish summer isn't coming to a close soon.  

• September 5th to 24th - Frozen Event 

Tidbit: This event promises to be a beautiful one. As you finish each card in the event, you will be rewarded with stunning scenes from the movie, Frozen! Furthermore, after you complete all 9 cards, a Bonus Card will open up that will reward you with a Gold Pin for this event after completion!! 

Tidbit: This tidbit is special enough that it needs to be noted as a separate bullet point. It looks like the developers think we're completing the events too quickly, so they're only opening up Cards #1 to #6 on September 5th; and then opening up the remaining cards (up to Card#10, the bonus card) on September 12th.

• September 9th to 13th - 5-Day Pick-Up Capsule which contains the following 15 tsums (tidbit: this will require 450,000 coins to complete if you wish to get the skill ticket at the end):

• September 14th to 17th - Lucky Time for New Kingdom Hearts characters, Sora and Riku!!

Tidbit: Sora's skill reminds me of Perry's ability. Once activated, he will automatically swipe with his key and thereby clear areas of Tsums for a short period of time. As you skill Sora up, the number required to activate his skill decreases, with Skill 6 requiring 20 vs the 26 needed at Skill 1 before his skill can be activated. Looking at Seiji's video, he may actually be a good coin farmer too.

Tidbit: Riku's skill reminds me of Sorcerer Mickey's ability. Once activated, Riku will clear surrounding areas of tsums wherever you tap. As you skill him up, the larger the radius will be and the more number of taps you can do per activation. As you watch Seiji's video, notice he taps the bottom tsums on the first few times, and then on the last tap, he taps near the top of the tsums. It's important to note this because with each tap, bubbles get created and thus having them accumulate at the bottom would help you maximize the area cleared in the last tap placed at the top. 

• September 18th to 21st - LAST Lucky Time for Summer Olaf, Young Anna, and Young Elsa

• September 25th to 28th - LAST Lucky Time for Riku and Sora

• September 29th to October 1st - Mission rewards are 2000 coins per mission!!

It's shaping up to be another interesting month, full of limited time tsums, so keep saving those coins and good luck with all the lucky times!! I hope you get your desired tsum skilled up as much as you'd like.
