April 2017: Star Wars Is Coming!!!

Yes, if you have been keeping up with this blog, this is an alteration of the old post to which was a big NAY in all my predictions. 

Now, in the groups that I have recently joined, one of the members just found the pictures of what is to come in April!! Unfortunately I cannot save the pictures so I can't display it on this blog for you to see. But here is the breakdown of what is coming up:

• April 1st to 4th - Lucky Time for Han Solo and Chewbacca!
  
  Below are two videos showcasing their skills/abilities:

Han Solo's ability is like Judy Hopps where you have to time your taps to clear the center of the tsums.

Chewbacca will clear a horizontal lineof tsums.

• First Pickup Capsule: April 6th to 9th - includes 15 tsums:
• Darth Vader x 1
• Luke x 2
• Yoda x 2
• R2-D2 x 2
• Clarice x 2
• Max x 2
• Jasmine x 1
• Aladdin x 1
• Miss Bunny x 2
• once you get all 15 capsules, you get a Skill Ticket to use on any tsum of your choosing!!

• Star Wars Event: Fight the Empire - April 14th to May 8th. Here is a brief overview of the Star Wars event that happened in Japan back in Dec 2016. 
• Reward: Death Trooper, coins, items, tickets!
• There is a total of 30 cards in the event.
• Using Chewbacca, Jedi Luke, and Han Solo will make it easier to play the event. 
• You can help your friends with their battles!! When you support your friends with their battles against the Star Destroyer, Gift Capsules will randomly appear during your game play! One of the Gift Capsules may give you the K-2SO tsum tsum!!

K-2SO will turn all the tsums into K-2SO droids. Tap on the droid with the glowing eyes to clear the center of the tsums. 

• April 14th to 17th - Han Solo, Chewbacca, AND Jedi Luke Lucky Time!!!

Use Gyro with his ability. His ability clears tsums in the direction that you trace.

• April 18th to April 20th - Vote for your favorite Star Wars tsum tsum!! Honestly, I'm not sure why we are voting though...what's the reward? Do we get another lucky time for the selected tsum(s)?? I guess we will need to wait a bit to find out.

• Second Pickup Capsule: April 21st to 24th - includes 15 tsums:
• Darth Vader x 1
• Princess Leia x 2
• C-3PO x 2
• BB-8 x 2
• Pinocchio x 2
• Jiminy Cricket x 2
• Elsa x 1
• Anna x 1
• Pete x 2
• once you get all 15 capsules, you get a Skill Ticket to use on any tsum of your choosing!!

• April 28th to May 1st - Rey and Kylo Ren Lucky Time.

Like Chewbacca, Rey also clears a horizontal line of tsums.

Kylo Ren's ability clears a T-shaped area of tsums using his lightsaber.

All of the new Star Wars tsums will be available in the premium box until May 12th! 

Yes, you read correctly. There are TWO pickup capsules, meaning you need a total of 900,000 coins if you want to get all 30 capsules and the 2 skill tickets thereafter. Coupled with the lucky times, you definitely need to save up more coins in the next few days. 

Tidbit: I highly recommend you do Not spend any of your coins on the first lucky time for Han Solo and Chewbacca this coming weekend, and save your coins for the pickup capsule coming up next week so you can get part of the Star Wars tsums from last year, especially for Yoda who is a pretty good coin farmer. (Yoda's ability is similar to Bumblebee Pooh.) Spend your coins on the second lucky time for Han Solo, Chewbacca, AND Jedi Luke so that you can get the most out of your hard earned coins. 

Tidbit: Keep saving up coins over the course of next month so that you can get the second pickup capsule and thus the rest of the Star Wars tsums that we had gotten last year, especially Princess Leia and BB-8, both of which are decent coin farmers for new players.

Tidbit: If you don't have anyone else on your leader board aka friends, this is a great time to make some new friends! Once you have new players on your list, you can help them with their battles during the event. Trust me, the Gift Capsules make it worth it to help each other out. =) It also makes the event much more fun! How to find new friends? Start by looking out for the April Line ID on Reddit in their Monthly/r/TsumTsum Link Megathread for April 2017. It will most likely start up this Saturday.

I know this is overwhelming with all this Star Wars madness. It will be an amazing April to mid-May. And remember, have fun!!

April Sneak Peak

Wow, wow, wow! So this post is a bit out of the ordinary because I usually don't post about leaks that don't have pictures to substantiate or back them up. But this time, it's different. The leaks indicate an exciting April, and requires a lot of heads up in my opinion so that you can try your best to get the new tsum. Please do note that I haven't seen the pictures to indicate when the lucky times are nor if this is definitely for sure happening in April.

April is going to be ... STAR WARS!!!

Yes, I was also taken aback when I first saw the leaks. May 4th is known as Star Wars day by a lot of fans so that's why I didn't take the leaks seriously when the banners were found and fans said Star Wars was coming in April for the International game. But something happened on the iOS store today: Tsum Tsum was taken down in the international game. Why? Because it was under "maintenance".

A fan on Reddit posted this picture: App Store Update.

Yes, you saw right, it IS Star Wars!! I have an Android so I actually didn't see this update since they seem to update Android after iOS. It was this screenshot that convinced me that Star Wars is indeed coming! By the way, fans suspect that the developers released the updates too early and thus have taken the game off until they fixed this pre-release, thus why you may not be able to find Tsum Tsum on the Apple App store for the time being. Don't worry, it should return soon. I'm not sure how long it takes to correct the error they're trying to fix right now.

The banners found on this Reddit post and on the screenshot indicate that we'll be getting Kylo Ren, Rey, K-2SO, Death Trooper, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Jedi Luke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tidbit: coin farm as much as you can. I know Maleficent Dragon is coming up next weekend but still, coin farm as much as you can until next month so you can get all the Star War tsums! Guaranteed that all of the Star War tsums are time limited and you won't be able to get them after April 30th from the premium box.

Tidbit: Coin farm especially to try and get Jedi Luke who is the ultimate coin farmer to date!!! Seiji has a video of Jedi Luke and he got over 14,000 coins in one game!!! Even in the Reddit coin farmer ranking list, Jedi Luke, when used with the 5>4 bonus, can rake in 8900 coins on average!!

Tidbit: We may get our first lucky time as early as Fri, March 31st.

Tidbit: For all the fans who didn't get a chance to get the Star War tsums last year, e.g. Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Yoda, etc., you can get them in the pickup capsule! I understand there are 3 banners shown in the leak but there really should be 1 pickup capsule, so save up at least 600,000 in case there are more than 15 tsums in the pickup capsule for April. The extra 2 banners are probably options for the developer to post in the game.
