Well, it's that time of year again! Christmas!

There looks to be some trouble finding information for this month's tsum tsum fun but here are some of the leaks that have been able to surface (Thank you Mayorse as always!).

Known Timeline: please note that the 2nd and 3rd lucky time start dates are estimates

• December 1 to December 4, 2017 - Lucky Time for Baymax 2.0 and Hiro!

Tidbit: Baymax 2.0 clears a horizontal section of tsum tsum with his rocket punch. From the video, it looks like he can be quite a good coin farming tsum as well. Baymax 2.0 is a limited time tsum that will not be available after December 31st! So try and get this limited time tsum!

Tidbit: Hiro flies in a sideways v-arc across the screen on armored-up Baymax's back, clearing the tsums they travel pass. Hiro is also a limited time tsum that will not be available after December 31st! So try and get this limited time tsum during the lucky times!

• December 5 to December 25 - Snow Festival Event! The idea of the event looks to be gathering as many snowflakes as you can to make the 9 snow domes. Once a snow dome is complete, you'll receive a prize! A silver pin is available at the end of the event.
• There are two types of hearts shown in the heart meter during this event: hearts that are half covered in snow and Ice Hearts. 
• Tidbit: Ice Hearts will cause more snowflakes to fall!
• Tidbit: There are 3 Chance Times in a day at which point the Ice Hearts appear at triple the rate! Chance Times will occur at the following times:
• 6AM to 7AM PST
• 5PM to 6PM PST
• 9PM to 10PM PST

• December 5 to December 14 - Only Cards 1 to 5 are available!
• December 15 to December 25 - All Cards available to play and complete!
• As usual, the new tsums for this month will give character bonuses that will help you clear the Snow Festival Event faster!

• December 11 to December 14 - Lucky Time for Baymax 2.0 and Hiro!
• December 27 to December 29 - LAST Lucky Time for Baymax 2.0 and Hiro!

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are 3 pickup capsules this month! Two of the Three are known to have 15 capsules. Assuming that the 3rd pickup capsule has 20 capsules as the worst possible scenario:

15 + 15 + 20 = 50 x 30,000 coins = 1.5 Million coins needed!!

Two of the Three pickup capsules have no dates specified. According to the Reddit note and the few leaks, it is assumed that these are the pickup capsules to come:

Pickup Capsule #1: Picture Leak

Known to have 15 capsules so need 450,000 coins.

What is special about this first pickup capsule is that this one has Scrooge!!

Tidbit: Scrooge clears a vertical line of tsums and earns the players lots of coins! Furthermore, he only needs 14 skill tickets (after the initial box open) to max his skill up! So save up your skill tickets for Scrooge! As he skills up, the more coins he gains!!

Needless to say, Skill 6 Scrooge looks to be a great coin farmer!

Pickup Capsule #2: Picture Leak - Assuming to be available December 22 to December 25!!

Known to have 15 capsules so need 450,000 coins.

This one we know which tsums are going to be present:

• Holiday Mickey x 3
• Holiday Minnie x 3
• Holiday Donald x 2
• Holiday Daisy x 3
• Holiday Pluto x 2
• Holiday Goofy x 2

Pickup Capsule #3: Picture Leak

Unknown number of capsules. Assuming the worst scenario of 20 capsules, try to have 600,000 coins!

What is special about this third pickup capsule is that there are Star Wars tsums in it!! The pickup capsule will include R2-D2, Princess Leia, Rey, Kylo Ren, and C-3PO at least!

November 2017 is All About Pixar!

Pixar is coming! Pixar is coming!!

I am super excited about this month because new Pixar tsums are coming as well as a weekend to celebrate Mickey's birthday (though a couple weeks early) in November!

Important Tidbit: The new Pixar Tsums are all available for a limited time except for Cruz Ramirez who will continue to be in the premium boxes after November.

• Nov 1 to Dec 1 - Login Bonuses in celebration of Mickey's Birthday!!

• Nov 1 to 4 - Lucky Time for Cruz Ramirez, MU Mike, and Jet Pack Alien!

Tidbit: Cruz Ramirez's ability calls Lightning McQueen whom she races and together, they both clear diagonal lines of tsums - it looks almost like a C-shape! Each of these two tsums clear their own line of Tsums and thus count as 2 separate chains. As she skills up, the less number would be required to activate her skill. Very Neat!

Tidbit: When MU Mike's ability is activated, he clears 3 vertical lines of tsums each time he practices his scaring! Love the animation!

Tidbit: When its ability is activated, Jet Pack Alien will rocket through space and change 3 diagonal lines of tsums into more Jet Pack Alien tsums, which allows you to create long chains in the game. The animation is quite pretty!

• Nov 6 to 26 - Pixar Puzzles Event! The following link will give you an overview of what the Japan version got for this event in case you're wondering what is coming up next week: Japan Pixar Puzzle.

• Nov 6 to 9 - Lucky Time for Carl and WALL-E!

Tidbit: When Carl's ability is activated, you'll see his flying house clear a horizontal line of Tsums!

Tidbit: WALL-E's ability is taking a horizontal line of tsums and compacting them into tiny Tsums in the center. Similar to Wonderland Alice, when the surrounding tsums are cleared, these tiny tsums will be cleared with them. As you skill WALL-E up, the required number to activate his skill decreases! 

• Nov 10 to 13- Pickup Capsule - need 450,000 coins for the 15 capsules!

Halloween 2017 brings Jafar, Cruella De Vil, and Captain Hook!!

Halloween is upon us again and Tsum Tsum is giving us 3 new villains!!!

Important Tidbit: All of the new villain tsums are not time limited tsums so you will have the chance to get them in the premium boxes after Halloween is over, if the rotation includes them! The Tsums in the Pickup Capsule and in the Select Lucky Time (see below) do have time limited tsums which if you don't have yet, I highly recommend you save your coins for since they won't appear again for another year. 

• October 2nd to 5th - Lucky Time for Cruella De Vil and Captain Hook

Tidbit: Cruella's ability clears tsums in an S shape with her car, similar to Dory.

Tidbit: Captain Hook's ability clears a vertical line of tsums, as he is trying to run away from Tick Tock the Crocodile.

• October 6th to 9th - Lucky Time for Jafar

Tidbit: Jafar's ability clears tsums in the shape of an X using fire. It's oddly mesmerizing to watch his ability get activated.

• October 6th to 26th - New Villain Event - Part 2! Reward Tsum is Joker Goofy Tsum Tsum!! It looks to be similar to last year's Halloween event where there are three doors corresponding to each new villain we are receiving. Complete all the spaces in the event and you get a gold pin, premium ticket and a skill ticket among other prizes!

Tidbit: Captain Hook, Cruella De Vil, Jafar all give you character bonuses to help you clear the missions quicker.

• October 13th to 17th - Pickup Capsule - 15 capsules, so be prepared with 450,000 coins!!
• Pumpkin Mickey x 2
• Pumpkin Minnie x 3

• Rattle Bones Pluto x 1
• Ghost Dale x 3

• October 20th to 23rd - Last Lucky Time for Captain Hook, Cruella De Vil, and Jafar!

• October 27th to 30th - Select Lucky Time for Maleficent Dragon, Horn Hat Mickey, and Cat Hat Minnie!! Only available during this select lucky time, so save up as much as you can so that you can at least get one of each of these tsums!

Tidbit: I highly recommend trying to get Maleficent Dragon and Horn Hat Mickey as skilled up as you can during this lucky time, if you can afford it. Maleficent Dragon is a really powerful tsum to use for high scores, and Horn Hat Mickey creates bubbles that you can move around the screen, thereby allowing you to control where they pop and clear tsums.

• October 29th to 30th - Missions are worth 2000 coins each compared to the usual 500 coins.

It looks to be another fun-packed month with new powerful villain tsums!! Keep saving those coins so you can get the tsums you wish to have!!

Hello Kingdom Hearts Fans!! Sora and Riku are coming to Tsum Tsum in the middle of September!!

Important Tidbit: ALL Five new tsums coming in September are Limited Time tsums!!

• September 1st to 4th - Lucky Time for Young Anna and Young Elsa!

Tidbit: Young Anna's skill shows her rolling snowballs with Elsa across the screen, which thereafter clears two horizontal lines of tsums. As you skill her up, the number required to activate her skill decreases, and at Skill 6, you only need 11 to be able to activate Young Anna's ability! Unfortunately, similar to the other musical tsums that Japan got, the International game won't have the "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?" song during game play due to the licensing fees and costs associated to distributing it to the rest of the world.

Tidbit: Young Elsa's skill shows her and young Anna throw a snowball into the air that bursts into a beautiful large snowflake that freezes and clears the upper part of tsums as well as freezes the lower part of the tsums that you need to tap to clear. I have to say the animation for Young Elsa is very pretty.

• September 5th to 8th - Lucky Time for Summer Olaf!

Tidbit: Summer Olaf's ability is similar to Zero, where he will disappear for a short period of time when activated. The developers made a really nice animation here, showcasing Olaf sailing away on a beautiful sunny summer's day, with a drink in his hand. Makes me really wish summer isn't coming to a close soon.  

• September 5th to 24th - Frozen Event 

Tidbit: This event promises to be a beautiful one. As you finish each card in the event, you will be rewarded with stunning scenes from the movie, Frozen! Furthermore, after you complete all 9 cards, a Bonus Card will open up that will reward you with a Gold Pin for this event after completion!! 

Tidbit: This tidbit is special enough that it needs to be noted as a separate bullet point. It looks like the developers think we're completing the events too quickly, so they're only opening up Cards #1 to #6 on September 5th; and then opening up the remaining cards (up to Card#10, the bonus card) on September 12th.

• September 9th to 13th - 5-Day Pick-Up Capsule which contains the following 15 tsums (tidbit: this will require 450,000 coins to complete if you wish to get the skill ticket at the end):

• September 14th to 17th - Lucky Time for New Kingdom Hearts characters, Sora and Riku!!

Tidbit: Sora's skill reminds me of Perry's ability. Once activated, he will automatically swipe with his key and thereby clear areas of Tsums for a short period of time. As you skill Sora up, the number required to activate his skill decreases, with Skill 6 requiring 20 vs the 26 needed at Skill 1 before his skill can be activated. Looking at Seiji's video, he may actually be a good coin farmer too.

Tidbit: Riku's skill reminds me of Sorcerer Mickey's ability. Once activated, Riku will clear surrounding areas of tsums wherever you tap. As you skill him up, the larger the radius will be and the more number of taps you can do per activation. As you watch Seiji's video, notice he taps the bottom tsums on the first few times, and then on the last tap, he taps near the top of the tsums. It's important to note this because with each tap, bubbles get created and thus having them accumulate at the bottom would help you maximize the area cleared in the last tap placed at the top. 

• September 18th to 21st - LAST Lucky Time for Summer Olaf, Young Anna, and Young Elsa

• September 25th to 28th - LAST Lucky Time for Riku and Sora

• September 29th to October 1st - Mission rewards are 2000 coins per mission!!

It's shaping up to be another interesting month, full of limited time tsums, so keep saving those coins and good luck with all the lucky times!! I hope you get your desired tsum skilled up as much as you'd like.

Aug 2017 - Finding Nemo and Moana Tsums are going International!

Sorry everyone for the late blog post. It has been a super crazy week and thankfully things should resume back to normal starting today...hopefully.

And yes, Finding Nemo and Moana tsums are coming to International Tsum Tsum!

Timeline:

• August 1st to 4th - Nemo and Dory Lucky Time!!

Tidbit: Nemo's ability clears a horizontal line across the screen as he and his dad, Marlin, travels across the screen: VIDEO Furthermore, as you skill him up, the less you would require to activate his skill!

Tidbit: Dory's ability is similar to Flounder's in that she zigzags across the screen to clear tsums: VIDEO

Tidbit: If you don't like using boosts when playing, both Nemo and Dory do rank in the top 15 tsums for coin farming.

• August 4th to 24th - Find Your Ocean Friends Event! (aka Finding Nemo event)

Tidbit: Dory, Nemo, and Crush tsums will grant you character bonuses to help you finish the event faster. UPDATE - AUG 5th - The event is like a bingo card where there are multiple missions to complete (total of 60 missions in the event) that you can finish in random order. The missions appear 4 at a time, and once completed, the 5th mission that shows up is one where you have to "find and tap" a specific fish a number of times to complete the mission.

UPDATE - AUG 5th - Tidbit: When finding and tapping the fish, tap the fish immediately otherwise it will disappear a couple seconds later. I found using Crush, who gives you 100% character bonus, was super useful for this mission. If you manage to tap and capture 10 fish during the mission, it will give you 10 bonus fish, thereby cutting the number of games you needed to play to finish the mission. UPDATE - AUG 6th - As it turns out, the character bonuses only apply for the 5th mission of every set. When using Dory and Nemo, they also gave 100% character bonuses during the "finding the fish and tap" mission. For the other missions of the event, Dory, Nemo and Crush did not give character bonuses. I felt it was misleading to tell us that we would get character bonuses when using these three tsums to help us finish the event more easily, when in fact it only happened for the 5th mission of each set of 5s.

• August 5th to 8th - Lucky time for Crush only!

Tidbit: Crush's ability clears a vertical line of tsums as he rides the current! I really like his animation: VIDEO

• August 9th to 13th - Pickup Capsule!! It contains 15 tsums, so be prepared with 450,000 coins, and will have the following tsums in it:
• Romance Ariel x 1 !!!
• Scuttle x 1
• Abu x 1
• Ariel x 3
• Flounder x 3
• Sebastian x 3
• Hawaiian Stitch x 2
• Angel x 1
• Skill ticket for you to use on any tsums of your choosing!

Tidbit: this is a very interesting pickup capsule because Abu, Scuttle and Romance Ariel are usually not found in the premium boxes during your draws. Scuttle and Abu were both event reward tsums and Romance Ariel is a limited time tsum that came out last year during the Little Mermaid event. If you don't have these tsums yet, these tsums would be nice to have, but don't expect too much from them as they've proven to be quite weak. Romance Ariel may be a good tsums for specific missions but her ability is the same as Birthday Anna, who I find is a lot stronger tsum to have instead in your collection.

• August 14th to 17th - Moana and Maui Lucky Time!!

Tidbit (UPDATED - AUG 6th): Moana's ability clears tsums across the bottom of the screen horizontally, AND turns any Moana tsums into Score bubbles. As you skill her up, the number required to activate her skill decreases!! At Skill 6, you only need 8 Moanas cleared to activate her skill again!! Very strong tsum to have and Absolutely stunning animation, as her grandmother's spirit animal, the stingray, is the one who guides Moana and clears the tsums! VIDEO I highly suggest skilling Moana up as much as you can as she looks like a pretty powerful tsum. 

Tidbit (UPDATED - AUG 6th): Maui's ability is like Genie in that random effects will happen as can be seen in this VIDEO. Unlike Genie, Maui only has 3 random effects which you get already at Skill 1, so as you skill him up, the radius of how many tsums he clears only get larger and no additional skills would appear like Genie. When Maui's ability is activated, he will always strike a vertical line in the middle of the screen with his fish hook, and then he would transform into one of the three animals: a fish that flops around and creates random magical bubbles; an iguana that glides in a circle, transforming the tsums that cross his path into Maui tsums; and an eagle that clears a large vertical line of tsums. As you watch the video, you'll notice that the bubbles created from Maui are like Marie in which they are empty bubbles.

Tidbit (AUG 6th) - It would look like the coin ranking list don't include Moana and Maui yet, but from Seiji's videos, it looks like these tsums are pretty decent coin farming tsums as well.

• August 18th to 21st - LAST Lucky Time for Nemo, Dory and Crush!

• August 25th to 28th - LAST Lucky Time for Moana and Maui!!

• August 29th to 31st - Mission Rewards Up! Get 2000 coins per mission for these three days!!

Tidbit: Since this month is full of lucky times, if you don't need the skill ticket from the pickup capsule, you may find it more useful to save your coins for the Moana and Maui tsums or for the last lucky times! UPDATED - AUG 6th - None of these tsums in the lucky times are limited edition tsums so you will have a chance to keep skilling these tsums up in the future if it's part of the premium box selection/shuffle for the month. The Pickup Capsule however has 3 limited time tsums that you cannot get otherwise from the premium box: Romance Ariel, Scuttle, and Abu. If you don't have these three tsums, and if you wish to fill up your collection, then it may be in your best interest to have 450,000 coins for this pickup capsule. I apologize for the oversight earlier on this.

AUGUST 6th : Find Your Ocean Friends Random Tidbits

I'm going to list a few notes here as I randomly come to epiphanies on how to help you clear some of the missions more quickly. It will be updated over time until I complete the event. If you have any other tidbits you want to share, feel free to comment below and I can transport them to below here to help others during this event.

• One of the missions was to clear 1000 Pixar tsums - use Sully! He creates giant Sully heads which in turn counts for 5 tsums themselves, and each time I've used him as MyTsum for clearing this mission, I see Lightning McQueen and/or Rex show up as well, thereby increasing the number of Pixar tsums you're clearing in one game alone!

July 2017 - New Beauty and the Beast Tsums Are Coming Our Way!!

Hello again!! As you can tell from the title, the new Beauty and the Beast tsums are coming our way!!

Major Tidbit: If you wish to get two skill tickets guaranteed via the Two pickup capsules, please make sure to have at least 1,050,000 coins ready for this month.

• June 29th - You can now connect your Tsum Tsum game to Facebook. 

PLEASE NOTE: Players be aware that if you are logged into Line, when you change to a new device and install the Tsum Tsum app on your new device, you need to FIRST log into LINE to restore your game data. If you log into Facebook first, it will think you're a NEW player and you will not be able to play with your old game data!!

• July 1st to Aug 4th - New Rotation List of Premium Box Tsums 

• July 1st to July 4th - Lucky Time for new Romance Belle and Romance Beast !!!

Tidbit: Romance Belle - her skill summons Romance Beast in a circle, sort of like Daisy, and as her skill level gets higher, the circle grows bigger and more Romance Beasts gets summoned. Romance Beast can be connected to Romance Belle to make long chains. (VIDEO)

Tidbit: Romance Beast - his skill freezes the edges of the game in a U-shape as well as freeze the center of the game. As his skill level gets higher, the larger the area that he freezes when his ability is activated. (VIDEO)

Tidbit: Both Romance Belle and Romance Beast are limited time tsums that are only available until July 31st!!

• July 5th to July 23rd - Be Our Guest event!!

Tidbit: Mrs. Potts is the event reward tsum! She summons Chip tsums which can be linked up with Mrs. Potts tsums. (VIDEO)

Tidbit: There is a Challenge card for Be Our Guest event and it looks like they've included a Mission Assist feature. If you tap on the (!) button on the extra card missions, you can use rubies to make the missions on the difficult card easier to complete and thus help you get the Gold pin! It's a nice touch to help all the new players of the game. 

Tidbit: To clear the missions more easily, use Romance Belle, Romance Beast, Gaston, or Lumiere! In one of the mined pictures, it looks like the higher you skill up the new Beauty and the Beast tsums, the higher your character bonuses would be. Such a sneaky way of getting us to use our coins to buy more boxes.

• July 5th to July 8th - First Pickup Capsule - 15 tsums include: (450,000 coins needed)

• LILO x 1 !!!! 
• Belle x 1
• Beast x 1
• Genie x 2
• Hawaiian Stitch x 2
• Angel x 2
• Arlo x 2
• Cheshire Cat x 2
• White Rabbit x 2
• Skill Ticket to use on whichever tsum you wish to use it on!

Tidbit: YES, get this Pickup Capsule for the mere fact that Lilo is finally available to us in the International Tsum Tsum game!!

Tidbit: Lilo is an interesting tsum. When activated, her ability is to clear one type of tsum on the screen e.g. all the Sebastians, all the Scrumps etc. It's like half of Pinocchio's ability or just like the last bonus roulette after the game ends but your skill meter is full. Just like Pinocchio, as you skill her up, the less number of Lilo tsums cleared is required to fill up her skill meter! Great news: You only need 2 more Lilos or 2 Skill Tickets to max her at Skill 3! (VIDEO) 

• July 10th to July 13th - Lucky Time for Lumiere and Gaston!! They are not time limited tsums and will be available after the event is over. 

Tidbit: Lumiere - his skill is to activate Fever Mode and then clear random tsums like Goofy! His animation is very beautiful and pays tribute to the classic Disney Beauty and the Beast movie. (VIDEO)

Tidbit: Gaston - his ability clears a horizontal line of tsums as well as make a lot of Gaston tsums fall down for a short time afterwards. As you skill his ability up, his appearance rate increases by 10% per full skill level. (VIDEO) Please note that during when his ability is activated and lots of Gastons are falling down, any Gastons cleared during this short period of time will not count towards filling up his skill meter. 

Tidbit: Gaston is a very good coin farmer as it turns out as you skill him up closer to Skill 6! Here's a video comparing Little Oyster and Gaston by Seiji, with no boosts used at all: VIDEO . The coins in the end earned by both is quite close but Gaston still beats Little Oyster, who has been reigning on the coin farming list with no boosts required. There have been comparisons between Beast and Gaston, and ultimately it depends on how fast and how well you can use Gaston's ability. Beast is a burst tsum so doesn't require a lot of effort nor skill to get a lot of coins, whereas for Gaston's ability, you do need to be quick to be able to activate his skill frequently enough to farm the vast amount of coins indicated in the video. 

Tidbit: I manage to find a video that someone made comparing Jedi Luke, Beast, and Gaston and WOW, the differences are quite noticeable: VIDEO. The possibilities and potential are still quite overwhelmingly better with Jedi Luke than the other three for both coins and score, hands down. Furthermore the game play for Jedi Luke is much longer than it is for the other two games.

Speculation may be that it will start on Mon, July 24th and run until Thurs, July 27th.; however, I checked last year's Mickey Score Challenge, and we had about 6 days to do the challenge. So my estimate will be around July 21st in this case for when the score challenge will start for the Beauty and the Beast tsums. Once more clarity or updates have been revealed, I will update this part of the blog post.
  
  UPDATE - JULY 23: Since the Be Our Guest event is ending on Sun, July 23rd, and the promotion for the Score Challenge is labeled as a "new event coming soon", it looks like it will indeed start on Mon, July 24th. So get ready for the Score Challenge coming up right around the corner!! Good luck everyone!! 

The idea of the Beauty and the Beast Score challenge is to compete against players from around the world using the Beauty and the Beast tsums, and get a Pin as a reward based on the rank you achieve at the end of the challenge. From the mined pictures, it would look like they're doing this challenge a bit differently than last year. This year, there will be 3 groupings of tsums, thus three different groups you can try and get a high score in: Mrs. Potts & Lumiere; Beast, Gaston, & Romance Beast; Belle & Romance Belle. 

From my understanding, the ranges for each rank (aka rank boundaries) are updated hourly based on the scores achieved by players around the world. Your rank is based on your score and thus would determine which range and rank you would fall under. 

Tidbit: Final Rank boundaries are set 6 hours before the event closes, which is Thurs, July 27th at 11:59PM PDT, meaning that the boundaries will be solidified at 6:00 PM on Thurs, July 27th. In my opinion, I would only start trying for a high score at this time when the rank boundaries have solidified so that it doesn't become too frustrating trying to get the S Gold Pin. In the meantime, I think you can pause the score challenge and try to level up your Beauty and the Beast tsums that you wish to use for the score challenge. Since this is new to me, I'm not sure if this is true nor do I know for certain that you can pause the score challenge once you started. 

• July 25th to July 27th - LAST Lucky Time for Romance Belle, Romance Beast, Lumiere and Gaston!!

It is definitely another expensive month, full of really neat and beautiful tsums!! Keep farming those coins and good luck with the Lucky Times and Score Challenge!!

• June 1st - New Premium Box rotating content notification! It looks like starting on June 5th, the number of Tsum Tsum in the premium box will be reduced and changed monthly! There will be a "List" in the Tsum Tsum store to let you see what's currently available for purchase. Very interesting. Maybe this will mean a higher chance of getting the new tsums. It'll be neat to see how this turns out. 

• June 1st MAY 30 to June 3rd - Coin Reward Bonus! To celebrate their 70M downloads milestone, Tsum Tsum is going to reward each mission with 4000 coins, instead of 500! Great way to save up some coins for the upcoming new tsums lucky time!

Tidbit: I highly recommend getting Parade Mickey and Parade Tinkerbell because of the fact that they can both start fever time immediately (like Pumpkin Mickey) and then clears a horizontal line of tsum tsum, meaning their first clear would already count towards your score. Both of these tsums will definitely help you on those missions that require you to get into Fever time a specific number of times in one game before you can move onto the next part of the event. 

• June 7th to June 26th - Light Parade Event Starts! Please see Reddit and Imgur for the list of rewards for the 21 cards included in this event.

Tidbit: Fully utilise Sparkle Time, where during 3 times of the day (7 to 8am PDT; 6 to 7pm PDT; and 10 to 11pm PDT) all the hearts in your heart meter will be Sparkle Hearts! When you are playing on a Sparkle Heart, Sparkle Lights will appear during Fever Time! You can get these Sparkle Lights by using bubbles or skills or by clearing neighbouring tsum tsums. There is small print in the leaks that say using the new tsum tsums (Parade Mickey and Parade Tinkerbell) will help you get ahead. One of the fine prints on the leak says "All hearts will turn into Sparkle Hearts!" and the other says "More Sparkle Lights will appear!".  I'm not sure at this time if it means that when you use the two new tsums, you'll get more Sparkle Hearts and also more Sparkle Lights during the game. I guess we shall see...

Tidbit: Keep playing other people's cards to try and max your K-2SO, and if need be, pause the event to farm coins while there is a dry spell and no cards are open. That has been pretty much what I've been doing this past week since a lot of cards have disappeared sadly. Though now those item tickets and coins don't look too bad since in May you can definitely use them during the event and lucky times.

Jedi Luke - a few tidbits

I have been trying to use Jedi Luke to his fullest potential in I guess almost a couple weeks now since he came out. I have previously mentioned that I was a burst tsum player so I wasn't confident I would be able to use his skill well. With the amount of coins saved and the 1 skill ticket I had from the first pickup capsule for Star Wars, I was able to get Jedi Luke up to Skill 5. "At Skill 5, maybe I will be able to get 2000 coins with him at least," I thought.

For the first few games, this was the best that I could do...

At the beginning, I actually only was able to get around 700 to 800 coins per game with Jedi Luke, which is quite dismal compared to the average 8900 coins claimed to be achieved by people on Reddit with their Skill 6 Jedi Luke. You just don't expect such a huge gap between Skill 5 and Skill 6 for coins at least.

After fiddling around, talking with friends who have managed to master Jedi Luke's skill, seeing how they play, and then watching a lot of YouTube videos about how to use Jedi Luke's skill, this was the best that I could do...

So I stopped playing with Jedi Luke and gave myself a break, watched some more videos, and then every now and then, try to practice Jedi Luke's skill.

Then finally, something clicked, and I was able to hit 8.7M with Jedi Luke!! Played some more, and I managed to reach 7.5M within the game, which somehow or another translated to be 9.5M after the score bonus my level 221 gave me (26%)!! (Note: I was able to get 4306 coins in the game. It was the coin bonus that kicked it up to 6459 coins.)

I was on a roll and I can feel it. I was finally having fun playing with Jedi Luke, and I was becoming more encouraged to keep playing with him as I got was able to consistently start getting higher scores and coins with him.

Then I did it. I finally broke 10M with him.  

How?? Well here are a few tidbits that worked for me and that may also work for you.


Tidbit #1: Turn on Gyro. It can be found in the settings section of Tsum Tsum.

Tidbit #2: Play the game upright when you start, perpendicular to the floor so that the tsums fall faster now that gyro is turned on. Playing the game upright at the beginning will allow you to clear more Jedi Luke tsums right from the start, thus helping you activate his skill for the first time during the game more quickly. The filling of his skill meter at the very beginning of the game is, in my opinion, the hardest and longest one you will do for the rest of the game, thus we want to get that first activation out of the way so that you can activate his skill in a more rapid succession thereafter.

Tidbit #3: When you activate his skill, turn your phone to the 1 o'clock position. At this time, R2-D2 will show up. Start swiping your first stroke already as R2-D2 throws Luke his lightsaber, hold the stroke until the green circle narrows down to a point, and then let go. I usually start from the middle of bottom of the pile of tsums and swipe up towards the upper right hand corner of the play area, releasing the stroke underneath the pause button. If you do this first stroke properly, and immediately start on the 2nd stroke, you can fit in at least 5 strokes during Jedi Luke's ability.

Tidbit #4: After you let go of the first swipe, immediately get ready to do your second swipe. Turn your phone on a 45 degree angle, which will be around the 2 o'clock position. All the tsums will fall closer to your right side, at which point, you must start your second stroke already. Below will show you the general area that I would swipe up in the game when Jedi Luke's ability is activated.

Tidbit #5: Timing is what differs between getting a low score and coins, to a high score and several thousands of coins during the game. What seems to help me is the following mantra that I recite to myself after I activate Jedi Luke's ability in the game:

• Swipe up
• 1, 2, 3, 4 

Explanation/Methodology: (I literally do say all of the italicized bold words below in my head.)

• See R2-D2 then Swipe up (hold until green circle becomes a dot) (release)
• Immediately go straight down to above the fan, on the left side, and swipe 1, 2, 3, 4 in an evenly spaced rhythm upwards towards just below the pause button, again on the left side (as indicated in the above screenshot).

Note: the rhythmic 1, 2, 3, 4 that I say inside my head as I do the strokes follow a 4 - 4 beat like this video shows:

Notice the beat in the video above is not rushed but is evenly spaced out. This is how calm your swipes should be. More importantly, remember to release your swipe when the green circle decreases to a point AND THEN immediately jump back to the bottom of the screen to begin your next stroke.

Tidbit #6: After you get your first activation of Jedi Luke's skill, you don't need to go back to the upright position as at the beginning. After the first activation, you can keep the phone at the 1 o'clock position, moving to the 2 o'clock position only during Jedi Luke's ability, and then moving the phone back to the 1 o'clock position afterwards until the next time Jedi Luke's ability is activated.

Tidbit #7: Some people have found playing with a stylus helped them see the screens better, especially when playing with Jedi Luke, so test and see if that trick would work for you as well.

Tidbit #8: The swipes do Not have to be from bottom-to-top direction, it can also be from top-to-bottom direction. Some people even go up-down-up-down-up* to fit in their 5 strokes. It is all dependent on which swiping method will give you the easiest way to make at least 5 strokes during Jedi Luke's skill activation.

Notice that I adopted part of Seiji's swiping method by using a slanted first swipe, followed by the four straight swipes in the same area outlined in the above screenshots.

*This is someone who managed to figure a unique method of swiping up-down-up-down-up that worked for getting high scores and coins. He/she managed to perfect their technique to the point where he/she can swipe 13 times during each activation:

More Tidbits for Star Wars Event & May Brings Pirates!

Hi everyone,

Thank you to everyone for helping each other out!! I'm sorry I wasn't able to reply to everyone's questions this past week but I'm super happy to see that everyone is contributing and trying to help each other out. That's what this is all about in the end for the Star Wars event: to help each other out!

I understand there have been a lot of frustration on the drop rate for the capsules, which has been quite dismal for some players. There were some floating tips during the past week that I tried, and there is one that seemed to have worked very well for me and a number of other players as well:

MAJOR TIDBIT

1. Start a star destroyer battle for your friends.
2. Use Chewbacca as your MyTsum and 5-to-4 bonus to play other people's games. I've heard that Han Solo and Jedi Luke also brings capsules more than other tsums but Chewbacca was definitely the highly recommended amongst my friends as having the highest number of capsules drop for them when used as their MyTsum. 
3. Choose the player right below your name to play their game, regardless of their health points. 
4. In the first 45 seconds of the game, try to use the MyTsum skill as many times as you can. In the last 15 seconds, when you fully charged the skill meter, stop using the tsum's ability because sometimes the capsule drops in the last 2 seconds (very annoying) at which point you can activate your MyTsum immediately thereafter.
5. Don't use rubies to try and get the capsule. It's not worth it unfortunately. Each time I've used rubies, the capsule I had attained, contained an item ticket...or coins... =(

After I did first 3 steps above, I immediately saw a change in chances of getting the capsule in the game. Sometimes I get 1, sometimes I get up to 4 if I'm lucky with this method. There are definitely times where I play a few games with no capsules dropping but overall, the capsule has dropped pretty frequently when I'm using Chewbacca. If you don't have Chewbacca, play with Han Solo or Jedi Luke to try and increase your odds. You will start noticing a difference after a few games in.

The Key to getting K-2SO to Skill 6 is really to play more of your friend's games. Keep going at it. Luck does play a part, but if you put in the time that is needed to get the capsules, you'll get him at least 1x per day. I know there are Star Wars groups out there where people who haven't finished their own cards are able to join and play on other people's cards until the last two days to try and get K-2SO to Skill 6 and the skill tickets thereafter.

The great news in all of this is that indeed there are skill tickets after you get K-2SO to Skill 6!!

So keep going!! Don't give up. You still have 2 weeks to go! =) Good luck!!

In other news... May also brings Pirates of the Caribbean! So far that's all I have heard of.

The three new tsums will be:

• Jack Sparrow - clears tsums in a diagonal horizontal line
• Elizabeth Swann - turns tsums into Will Turner which can be connected to Elizabeth Swann tsums to clear, like Minnie's ability
• Davy Jones - clears the centre with his kraken. So far, from what I can tell from Tsum Tsum Wiki, only Davy Jones is the limited tsum for this next month.
