- May 3rd to May 8th - 3rd Star Wars Pickup Capsule - I think this pickup capsule will actually start on May 4th aka Star Wars day but everywhere says it will start on the 3rd so we'll see. I have normally only seen up to 5 days given for pickup capsules, but they have surprised us from time and time again, so it may possibly be 6 days this time for the pickup capsule and thus starts on May 3rd. We shall see.
Tidbit: This pickup capsule will include 15 capsules thus you need 450,000 coins ready for this capsule if you wish to pursue it:

Here are the sources again that will give you a better understanding of what challenges and rewards are at each stage of the event: Reddit and Tsum Tsum Wiki. There is also a Challenging Bonus Card that will reward you with a Gold pin once you complete all of its challenges!!
- May 13th to May 17th - Lucky Time for Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann!! Please note, that unlike what I thought originally, Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann tsums ARE limited edition tsums well and would only be available in the premium box until May 31st!!
- May 18th to May 22nd - Lucky Time for Davy Jones, another new limited tsum available only until May 31st in the premium boxes.
- May 23rd to May 27th - 5-day Pickup Capsules!!

This is proving to be another expensive and exciting month to say the least. So keep farming those coins and I hope you all will get a chance to max your K-2SO if possible. I know it is super frustrating now especially since there are fewer and fewer star destroyers open to play on. But don't despair.
Tidbit: Keep playing other people's cards to try and max your K-2SO, and if need be, pause the event to farm coins while there is a dry spell and no cards are open. That has been pretty much what I've been doing this past week since a lot of cards have disappeared sadly. Though now those item tickets and coins don't look too bad since in May you can definitely use them during the event and lucky times.

Deleteusing the skill tickets from the event to skill up Beast to Skill 5, but in terms of its coin farming abilities, it seems similar to Scar at Skill 3. Is it more worthwhile to skill up Scar instead of Beast then? or will Beast be even more powerful at Skill 6 (max skill level)?

DeleteDid you use gyro? You need to have Gyro turned on and the phone tilted towards 1 o'clock position to fully utilize Skill 5 Beast's potential.
Skill 5 Beast is better than Scar by a lot in my opinion, and as indicative by other people's games: http://i.imgur.com/WPyvOuu.png. I usually can get on average around 3500+ coins per game with the 5>4 bonus for Skill 5 Beast. I also played Skill 5 Beast with coin bonus so sometimes you can get 2x to 3x the number of coins you farmed during the game.
Skill 6 Beast is simply amazing and no other tsum compares, but Skill 5 Beast is a fantastic start for coin farming. Hope this helped a bit. Good luck!

Below are my number.
Beast : without boost, gyro off, average 1.8k coins.
Beast : without boost, gyro on, average 2k coins.
Beast : with boost, gyro on, average 4.6k coins.
Scar : without boost, average 1.7k coins.
Scar : with boost, average 3.5k coins.
Jedi Luke : without boost, gyro on, average 2.1k coins.
Jedi Luke : with boost, gyro on, average 8.5k coins.
But, scar used to generate better score compared to beast.
My 10mil score pin was from scar.
After star wars event, scar seems to be nerf and I average getting 7mil score with scar.
Coins is the most crucial factor in the game, hence, in my humble opinion, I will suggest go for a better coin farmer instead of a scoring tsum.

I'm so glad our comments were helpful!! :D I have found after watching so many videos that it is very important to be mindful that for Jedi Luke, each person will have their unique method of utilizing Jedi Luke's full potential. Some people can get lots of coins by doing lots of small strokes, and others gets lots of coins by doing fewer but longer-held strokes. :) The post I made is meant as a guide until you find your unique way of using Jedi Luke, and it may or may not work for you completely. It will take practice but just keep persevering and you'll be able to use his full potential soon enough. Good luck and happy tsuming Cindy! =D
DeleteHi, wondering how much different to have 6swipes for Jedi compare to 5swipes. I keep trying 6swipes but it easily screw up my remaining swipes. End up I don't feel big improvement to move to 6swipes. Anyone have better experience ?

DeleteFor Jedi Luke, I find I have better luck with 5 long-held swipes. Having said that, each person will need to find their own unique method of utilizing Jedi Luke's ability. For some, they can do more than 5 swipes, some 4, some even 13 short strokes bode for them better than the longer strokes. Just keep practicing and tweaking it to what works better for you. For me, I find if you can find a rhythmic of doing the strokes, you get better results but that's what works for me. Keep practicing and noticing what works better for you, tweaking your method of using Jedi Luke some more, until you truly find your sweet spot of getting the coins you wanted from him. =) Thanks for reading!
Thanks fatalistic web, it really need practicing, just created new high score of 23mil with 6 swipes. Can't wait to try it at max sl (3 more needed) next Tuesday. May the force be with you ;)

I just get my last 2 jedi luke and max his skill during his lucky time.
However, I find very little to no difference between skill 5 and skill 6 jedi luke.

DeleteWhen you know how to use JL very well, then there's not much difference between Skill 5 and 6 except maybe you can clear more per stroke with Skill 6. For me, I found I can clear a few more with each stroke and that has made a world of difference! Now I can hit 20M in score with my Skill 6 JL!! =D It's exciting. I never thought this was possible for me. I was struggling to hit 10M before...

Hi, I had some difficulties with the chest card from the pirate's event. Most of the bubbles did not drop in the middle, so the coins that I got were only around 6k. Does using gyro will affect the bubble's place to drop? Thanks a lot for the calendar too, Fatalistic Web!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen, sorry, it has been a very busy month for my family and me. When using gyro, it does affect the way the bubbles falling down, which really gyro slows down the drop rate. In general, I don't find gyro helps me get more coins and more or less, I've been getting around 6500 coins during those treasure chest times.

DeleteUse EEYORE with 5>4 boost. DO NOT use the skill until you are left with 6-8 eeyores on the screen. (Keep shuffling and clear the other tsums).
Only then, use the skill, which will turn almost the entire screen into EEYORES. Then trace it. I made it full eeyore screen with 45 chains :)
PS: have a 4-6 secs spare to do the final tracing.

Another good option is Sully if you have him. I used him with 5>4 and was able to do it in one try. You want to activate his skill but leave the big ones until you can activate it again, shuffle until you can link and then go for it.
DeleteUse elsa. No boost is easy... Just use skill twice for me (lv3). If u have lv1 or lv2 maybe need 3x skill. The way is activate skill once n dont pop ice. Just wait until second ice. N pop it together.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone gotten Jack Sparrow up to sl5 or 6? Mine is sl4 and unless there is a drastic improvement at 5 and 6, he's not living up to the hype. I'm learning to take the coin ranking with a grain of salt be a useful sometimes the rank is based on just a few plays probably played by someone far more skilled than I am. I just don't know if I should pour my hard earned coins into trying for more Jack's or use my hard earned skill tickets. So if anyone does have him at sl5 or 6, what kind of coins are you getting? Thank you ahead of time! I still wish I could rock Jedi Luke :-(

I actually was able to get it with Jack Sparrow level 1, used bonuses 5to4, and time. You have to get over 775 tsum tsum w/o bonus & that will get you over 1000. I practiced without the bonuses then turned them on. It took several times. Hope that helps!

It's a stretch I know, but does anyone happen to recall a link to photos/list/code from Feb or Mar timeframe that showed all the potential future Tsums Tsums that had been added to International game? My daughter and I are data mining trying to find.

I currently have Scar SL5 - my only strong tsum
I have some skill tickets that I haven't used from the Star Wars event/capsule because I'd like to know if it's worth it to save 20 to have a SL6 Scar, or if I should look to invest them into another tsum.
If I should set some goals to get more tsums to SL5, which ones are recommended? I'm looking at coin farming abilities since I'm constantly broke and barely, barely making the capsules. I know Beast is a better coin farmer than Scar, however I don't have Beast and I feel like their tsum types are somewhat similar so I also wouldn't have variety in terms of bingo/event cards.
Should I try to get Davy Jones from the last Lucky Time and then use the skill tickets on him?
Is there an existing one I should try to get in the Premium box?
Or is it better to test my luck and wait for the next batch of new tsums?

As I watch from Seiji's video, skill 5 scar and skill 6 scar is not really significant in coin earning.
So, my humble opinion, keep for some other tsum, for example beast or jedi luke.
One day, you will be getting beast from premium box. Trust me.
I have scar lvl 5, beast lvl 5 and jedi luke lvl 6 for comparison.
Scar and Beast coin farming ability at skill lvl 5 seems comparable to be, although beast will earn more in some games.
Jedi Luke is so far the best to me.
If you have him and practice more to master him (he is good as low as skill lvl 3), you will not have any more drive to max other tsums. LOL
Average coin earning number for your reference which I posted earlier.
Beast : without boost, gyro off, average 1.8k coins.
Beast : without boost, gyro on, average 2k coins.
Beast : with boost, gyro on, average 4.6k coins.
Scar : without boost, average 1.7k coins.
Scar : with boost, average 3.5k coins.
Jedi Luke : without boost, gyro on, average 3.7k coins.

All the data are being collected based on 100 game play I played for each tsums.
Jedi Luke number did changed abit after I played alot with him.
