Regular event:
Tidbit: Many of the missions have more than 1 space available for you to select to rescue the animals from. Some of these spaces are inhabited by hyenas only though.
Tidbit: All of the missions are supposed to be completed in one game. If you aren't able to complete the mission in one game, don't fret, as long as you're close to the goal of the mission, the game will award you a "Good" stamp and some damage (a quarter damage, as seen in the screenshots below) will occur to the hyena. Even if you can't achieve the goal, if you get close enough in several games, you will be able to complete the mission.
Tidbit: Although there are some spaces that have hyenas only, if you manage to choose all the squares to complete the area, you can clear the card without having to encounter the hyenas. For example, if the card asks you to rescue 2 animals and you end up choosing two spaces that both have an animal on it, then you would have cleared that card after you rescued the 2nd animal.
Tidbit: Use the Lion King tsums i.e. Simba, Nala, and Scar to get the character bonuses and thus finish the mission faster. Zazu would work too but he won't provide the character bonus that you may need on some of the little bit tougher missions.

DIFFICULT Card: (in random order) (Sorry, I started this difficult card in the middle before I went back to the first square.)
Mission: Earn 650 EXP in 1 play.
Tidbit: use your strongest scoring tsum for this mission. To complete this mission, you need to attain a score of over 6M. Score, 5>4, time, and bubble bonuses do help in this mission if you haven't been able to break 5M yet.

Mission: Clear 1,050 Tsum Tsum in 1 play.
Tidbit: Using Scar was very useful, especially if he's at Skill 3. The key to this one is to keep going into fever time so that you can increase the amount of time in the game you have. If need be, use the time bonus to give yourself more time to clear more tsums.
UPDATE - Other tsums that can help pass this mission are Maleficent, Maleficent Dragon, and Birthday Anna as they clear the tsums around the chains drawn in the game, thereby clearing a lot more than most other tsums normally can.

Tidbit: Use your strongest scoring tsum to try and achieve this mission. Or, if you don't have a high scoring tsum yet, try to use Scar as much as you can in the next few days so you can level him up to at least level 15 or 20, before you try and get a high score with him. Hopefully the character bonus will help you surpass the 6.5M if you don't attain the mission in the first game.
*** Good news: You don't need to reach 6.5M to finish this mission. You only need to get close to 6M to cause some damage to the hyena. It may take a few more games before you can clear the mission altogether, but at least it's consoling that this mission is passable if you are patient enough. ***

Tidbit: Using a tsum that charges up their skill meter quickly and clears a large portion of the screen is a good candidate for this mission, such as Beast or Scar. Adding the time and 5>4 bonuses would give you extra time and additional chances to charge up your MyTsum during this mission, which helps tremendously, especially when using Scar as he gives you character bonuses. So if you can get around 7 to 8 fever times, his character bonus will help you reach the mission goal easily.
UPDATE - Concert Mickey is really good for this mission because when you activate his skill, he stops time for you to pop the note bubbles. The trick is to go into fever time as soon as you can when you start the game, generate enough bubbles during fever time or fill up Concert Mickey's skill meter during fever time, and once you are out of fever time, you pop all the bubbles you generated (ideally 3 to 4 bubbles) or activate Concert Mickey's skill immediately. This trick works only because it will generate extra time for you during the game to go back into fever time, which in itself already adds 5 seconds to your game.

Tidbit: Use your strongest scoring tsum for this one as well.

Tidbit: Remember, you need to get close to the goal of the mission to get some damage to the hyenas, so 1 time bubble out of 6 isn't close enough unfortunately. For this one, you do need to get as many as 5 time bubbles before the mission will allow you to make some damage to the hyena. As mentioned earlier, some tsums known to help with these time bubble missions are Miss Bunny, Skill 4 Thumper, and Skill 3+ Cinderella. You can also choose any of the chain swiping tsums e.g. Little Oyster, Rapunzel, or tsums that you can create big tsums eg. Sully, Baymax, that you can utilize to create time bubbles. How? Time Bubbles are created with chains between 9 to 16 tsums long.
UPDATE - One of the readers (Thanks Black Clouds) just told me that Skill 3 Conductor Mickey also worked for getting the 6 time bubbles! The reader had used the time and 5>4 bonuses during the game. Give it a try and let us know if this also worked just as well for you! Holly 951 also noted that Goofy hit the sweet spot since he cleared between 10 to 12 tsums, which is an ideal range for time bubbles, thus was able to find a very creative way around not having Marie nor Miss Bunny to complete this mission. Great job! Other tsums noted to help for time bubbles are Alien, especially at Skill 3 (Thanks Chen!), Eeyore (Thanks Ashley!), Pluto (Thanks Michael!), Baymax (Thanks Jeanette!) and Nala, Minnie, and Daisy, all of which calls and can link up with their partners! Great job everyone in finding so many creative alternatives in beating this mission! =D

Tidbit: Here I used Scar with 5>4 and time bonuses to try and activate his skill as often as I could, as well as get the game back into fever time as often as possible in order to extend the time of the game.
UPDATE - Thank you themightymango for reminding us that Oswald and Angel are excellent tsums to clear this mission! When their skill is activated, it turns everything to Oswald (in Oswald's skill) or Angel and heart-eyed Stitch (in Angel's skill)!! Give Oswald a try to clearing this mission! You may not need to use boosts for this mission after all.

Tidbit: Using your coin farmer here is highly recommended. I managed to get this mission easily with my Beast with 5>4 and coin bonuses.

The one that I found the most difficult was the mission to get 6 Time Bubbles in 1 game (bonus card).

DeleteMe too, the 6 time bubbles was tough! I ended up just using Miss Bunny, and after about 5 consecutive games, (after many attempts with other tsums and boosts) she finally dropped 7 time bubbles in one game, with no boosts.

I used Alien SL3, with 5>4. At skill lvl3, it sorts out 3 different types of tsums by layers. with the 5>4, basically all your tsums are sorted out according to their types.

DeleteBecause Scar gets a 50% bonus, I used him for everyone except the time bubbles (miss bunny) and the combo one (holiday Donald). So the nice thing is that you only have to get around 4.8 million to break the 6.5 million score, or 6 fevers too hit the 9 fever times

ReplyDeleteIf during normal play, 6.5mil is not yet achieve, my advice is try to use lion king tsum.
Deletenala and simba give 30% bonus. (which means, 5mil is enough to achieve 6.5mil goals)
scar give 50% bonus. (which means, 4.34mil is enough to achieve 6.5mil goals)
i complete mine with skill lvl 5 scar.
i helped my friend to complete with her skill lvl 3 simba.
*make sure use all the power up (score, bubbles, 5>4 and time)
Thanks for all the help! Both Simba and Nala are still at skill level 1. Got lucky with Scar at skill 2 though :) I think i wont be able to complete the difficult card. Wish they allow you to do the other missions and skip the most difficult ones :)

DeleteI got six time bubbles the first try using Skill Lvl 1 Pluto. His skill pops about 9-10 each time and that worked for me.

DeleteHi Unknown, Yes, Martin is right. You do have the option of using Zazu to complete the mission requiring a Lion King tsum. Furthermore, if you want one of the other Lion King tsums, there will be another lucky time next weekend for all 3 of them, and you can try to get them during that lucky time to complete the rest of the event. DeleteThe "Mission: Clear 12 Score Magical Bubbles in 1 play." is just ridiculous. I tried using beast like you said but even with all the bonuses the game doesn't even give me enough beast tsums to do more than 8 skills in a game... Miss bunny will give me tons of score bubbles when I don't need them but nothing during these challenges. And Rapunzel just stops coming out when I get to 10-11 score bubbles...

DeleteOh dear. Let's try a different approach. What's your skill level for Jasmine, Max, Eeyore, Pascal and Little Oyster? Jasmine only needs 13 to fill her skill meter to activate, and Max needs 12. If you can fill their skill meters up faster, maybe it will give you the 12 that you need to beat this mission. Eeyore, Pascal, and Little Oyster would also help because if you have them at a higher skill level, every time you activate their skill and clear them, it would automatically regenerate their skill meter thus you can create long chains with them and get a score bubble each time. You only need to clear or make a 15 to 21 chain to create a score bubble. Even Tinkerbell would work if you have her at a higher skill level. Let me know and we can see how you can beat this mission.
Omg I am on card 5-4 9 score magical bubbles and I cannot pass it for the life of me. I have Nala and Zazu and quite a few characters as well. I do have a hard time connecting chains though. It won't inflict him every time I try. I have used at least 30 hearts trying to pass this. Any suggestions?

DeleteIs the mission requiring a Lion King tsum? If not, try using a burst tsum that is at a higher skill e.g. Jasmine, Tinkerbell, Surprise Elsa, and use the 5>4 and time bonuses to extend your game and activate the tsum's skill quicker. As long as the tsum bursts between 15 to 21 tsums at once, it will create a score bubble in the game. I prefer Jasmine because she is the quickest to activate, then Beast. Do you have these tsums and what skill levels are they at?
Sorry for the late response. I did finally end up passing it. Thank you! I used Ursula,5-4, and the time bonus. It took about 4 hearts and got it. I'm on card 6-4 which is the 500 EXP in 1 play. Yikes

DeleteMaybe try using a burst tsum for this mission. I used Jasmine (burst tsum) for this and was able to pass the mission. You can see in your collection which burst tsum (one where you don't need to do more than just tap on to activate the tsum's ability) has the highest level and is relatively fast to fill up. Once you know which tsum this is, try using 5>4 bonuses along with score and time bonuses. If you want, you can add in the bubble bonus too to try and pass this mission. Good luck!! ReplyDeleteI personally used s.level4 b.anna to complete ALL the missions! She really is very versatile and great for event missions!
Tips to use b.anna to complete various missions:
Time Bubbles/Regular Bubbles: connect 3 chains containing elsa. This will pop around 7-15 tsums (depending on the position). One skill activation gives you around 3 shots at this (means guaranteed 3 bubbles)
Score bubbles: Connect long chains containing elsa (around 7 should be enough), chains in the middle of the board will result in significantly more tsums popped. One skill activation should give you 1-2 long chains.
Fever: activate skill when the fever bar is almost done. Connect short chains containing elsa (3-4 tsums). Popping elsa will pause the time briefly; use the pause to look for other elsa to pop, pausing the time further. Using this trick will get you back to fever in less than 2 seconds!
Score: similar to fever strategy. Just swipe your fingers as quickly as possible along elsa tsums. Use the time pause to look for other chains. Connect short chains consecutively to maximize time pause and to give you shots at getting time bubbles.
Coins: contrary to fever/score strategy, you need to connect the LONGEST chain possible to maximize coin gain. Activate the skill ONLY when there are plenty of b.anna on the board to give you a long chain to connect (popping around 30 tsums at once!). I personally only connect 1 LONG chain in fever, then spend the rest of fever time to clean the board (get as many b.anna as possible), and get another LONG chain off of fever (which gets you back to fever)
Skill: maximize time pause, connect short chains, mind the fever bar (or just use thumper)
Combo: maximize time pause, connect short chains, mind the fever bar (or just use donald)

DeleteI have tinkerbell, Elsa, surprise Elsa, Birthday Anna. I have tried the 5-4 with all of them and still have gotten 4 at the absolute most. Usually when I play it will inflict the hyena and let you pass if you're close. But nothing has happened. I cannot go to the next card. I'm stuck

DeleteOh dear. Let's see.. do you have a burst tsum at skill 2+ that can clear around 20 tsums when you activate their skill? Some burst tsums that may help are Jessie, Lotso, Belle, Beast, Hawaiian Stitch, Mater, Triton, Finnick, and Ursula. Another way to do this is possibly using Alice or Sully, activating their skill so that big tsums appear that you can link to make a chain of 20+ tsums to clear. Using these two latter tsums along with 5>4 and time bonuses will help you activate their skills faster and extend the game to help you get the necessary 9 score bubbles needed to pass the mission.
Give it a go or have a rest tonight and try again tomorrow morning. I know it's very difficult to keep going and sometimes, some rest is all you need to re-energize to beat the mission. Good luck and do let us know how it goes with the tsums above! It will take some trial and error to see which tsums will be the ones to get you closest to your goal, so keep going and don't give up. Good luck!!

DeleteMy friend actually was able to get it with his Skill 5 Beast, along with 5>4 and time bonuses. Maybe you can give it a try if you have a skill 5 Beast?
Would you happen to have any other burst tsums that are quick to charge up to use? For example Max and Jasmine are great options since their skill meter charge up very quickly.
Two alternatives are Eeyore and Pascal which creates more Eeyores and Pascals in the game which should help you clear more of your MyTsum while simultaneously activate their skill meter fasters too to produce of your MyTsum.
Let us know how it goes and we can always brainstorm other methods to help you out here. Good luck!
You can use Oswald or angel. You can get a lot of my tsums using them and should complete the mission without any boosts.

DeleteIt depends on what level and what your level bonus is. I think for this mission though, you need to surpass around 5.5 million in the game before the bonuses kick in to help you attain the 6.5 million points. Use all the bonuses while you're trying for this mission to help extend your time, get into fever time more frequently, and to activate your MyTsum's skill more often to get the higher score. Good luck!
